List of Amani Alameer's Reviews
Dr. Alameer is the first doctor that has shown serious interest in helping me get and keep my A1C down. Listens and is very helpful and encouraging.
Visited Dr. Alameer with concerns of hyperthyroidism (as it runs in my family). She didn't take me seriously from the moment I walked in the door. Described all my symptoms and she just brushed me off. A year later my symptoms were significantly worse so I visited an endocrinologist over an hour away. Turns out that I am not only severely hyper, but I have Graves Disease. I do not recommend Dr. Alameer, HIGHLY recommend Dr. Thottan in Waldorf!!!
I think Dr. Alameer is wonderful! Very fortunate to have a local endocrinologist I can trust.
Dr. Alameer was very thorough during my video appointment regarding gestational diabetes. She listened to me, answered my questions and laid out a plan for my care that seems reasonable and effective.
She was not very helpful in addressing my concerns. She brushed my complaints to the side and kept pushing for a blood test that I had already had. She never touched me and seemed very rushed and rude
I would not recommend Dr.Alameer if you have any type of adrenal issues, she does not listen to you, she does not believe you when you tell her what your experiences are, she does not preform the right tests and steps over boundaries as far as patients confidentiality. I would not take any one I know to see her. She seems to care more about her ego than her patients. She needs a lot more training and to learn how to listen to patients symptoms and believe them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
