Cheryl Anne Shaw's Online Review Report Card

Dr Shaw is, in my opinion an extremely attentive and thorough doctor. I have been seeing her for over 5 years and have great trust in her. She listens without being dismissive, I find her cautious to medicate, but always basing her decisions on sound medicine. I never leave without all concerns being addressed. Communication is always clear and concise. I highly recommend Dr Shaw.

I looked for years for a doctor before selecting Dr. Shaw to be my sole provider. Dr Shaw is, in my opinion an extremely attentive and thorough doctor. Dr Shaw is extremely extensive and helpful in assisting me manage my healthcare. Options are always introduced and plans are made that we both adhere to. Goals are laid out helping me towards leading the healthy life I want to lead. Pros and cons are discussed and a path is agreed upon for the solution. I love the punctuality and timeliness spent during my appointments. I never leave without all concerns being addressed. Communication is clear and concise. I feel respected by both her staff and other doctors that have I have met at the practice.

Great doctor, highly recommend

She is dismissive when I voice my concerns, request prescriptions, request referrals. She seems distrustful and arrogant to belittle the patient. I have been in my body and my childrens' bodies and I know the specialist we need. She makes getting our care harder than it has to be. She makes us jump through her hoops when the health issues we have are already stressful enough. She is arrogant, condescending, dismissive, and lack comprehension because she stereotypes her patients.

I have been going to Dr Shaw for 3 plus years. I find her very attentive and thorough. She LISTENS to what I say. I find her cautious to medicate, basing her decisions on sound medical research. She also saw for my 91 year old mother-in-law when she was visiting from out of town and came down with pneumonia. She was very responsive to her and spoke to her directly-rather than through me as is often the case with doctors speaking with an older, hard of hearing, patient. I highly recommend Dr Shaw

I hate going to the doctor's office. But once I did and met my doctor, Dr. Cheryl Shaw, I don't mind so much. She is very pleasant and easy to talk to. And she has done me right, on the rare occasions I have gone to see her. I trust what she tells me, and I follow her instructions. And I'm good! Not so hesitant to visit if I need to. Plus, her staff in the building off Hollywood Rd. is very pleasant. Oh, and I hate having my blood drawn, but they are understanding and great!

Initially selected another doctor in her practice- contacted by staff and encouraged to take a closer appt with her. I always felt she was very dismissive of my concerns and would always recommended I use over the counter medications. Even with well documented history of a condition! Meds were not narcotic/addictive type. She did not seem to trust that I may know how my body works/reacts to certain things. Dismissive and untrusting in your medical history. Not qualities you want in your doctor.

Dr shaw lied to my face about whether she had consulted my medical history before our appointment. Obviously, that precludes me from trusting her at all.
