Dr. Harvey did a wonderful job of removing an extremely diseased gall bladder in an emergency situation. Though the scar had to be long, it healed beautifully and quickly. He explained the situation well and with patience in a stressful situation.

He was very patient with my mother and helped explain things to her. He's very quiet, so I feel some people may misread this characteristic. He's well educated on the latest information regarding vascular therapies and procedures, asks the right questions, and I felt extremely comfortable with his care for my mother.

Thorough explanation of what to expect with the surgery and post surgery, sat down and talked to me about the procedure and his concerns. Wasn't rushed or condescending in his speech, used terminology that was understandable and was very personable. Would highly recommend him and made the experience as pleasant as possible

My experience w/Dr. Harvey was pleasant at first but not forthcoming with information. I felt as if I had to pry information out of him. He did not warn me that the bruises and indentations(or dents in my leg) could remain and not go away after a year like he said they would! He also didn't inform me of anything to put on the the cuts to help avoid or minimize the scarring. So one year after surgery, I'm left with about five bruises the size of large thumb prints and some indentations which he never mentioned would happen! Now I have had a second opinion, and they were surprised that any Dr. Still did vein stripping at all! After getting this second opinion, I feel very confident in moving forward with a new vascular surgeon and their procedures!!!
