I was very satisfied with Dr. Polko and staff when I had my procedure last Monday. I wish Dr. Polko was my OB-gyn when I had my daughter 14 years ago.

The overall experience was good, but I hated the quality of the sound. I could barely hear my doctor’s voice . Even though she turned up the volume of her talking device to max level, the quality of the sound didn’t improve. But the ease of reaching out was excellent!

Read between the lines. She is partial to whom she decides to treat well and whom she does not. She assaulted me! Her hospital staff emotionally abusive to me! Lied about receiving my birth-plan and lied on my records. Downplay the level of vaginal and anal tear I had including having a completely torn urethral sphincter that went unrecognized and untreated.

I saw Dr. Polko for the first time and was so impressed by the way she took care of me. I was very worried about a few things but she had me laughing and relaxing very quickly. I love her bedside manner. She came across as confident, experienced, but also kind and caring. I walked away feeling like a patient she actually cared about; not just a number. That's a rare thing in today's medical world I think. I highly recommend her.

Use to be a good office with wonderful doctors and staff! How quickly things change. I understand the transition into MedStar would be a bit rough but I’ve received my text message last year in November to schedule my appointment and here we are almost February and still can’t schedule an appointment! This transition isn’t fair to the loyal patients that have been coming to you for years! I hope they clean this mess up !

This is the most unfavorable doctor's office I have ever experienced. It is unfortunate that my doctor is out of this office. The check-in system is ridiculous, I should not have to check-in like a new patient every single time through the portal and pretty much answering the same redundant erroneous questions, which takes 10-15mins. Then they tell me my insurance was showing in their system as inactive, NOT THE CASE, called the insurance company and NO ISSUES!

Dr.Lisa Polko, You are truly amazing!!!! When I first came to you with all of the problems I was going through you tried to help me. You were so patient and understanding. We worked through my issues and you saved my life. I am still here and happy. If it was not for you I would not be here to give you this review. Thank you again for caring for me when no one else would.
