List of Medstar Health: Radiology At Medstar St. Marys Hospital's Reviews
These people are so helpful and caring and so nice and never rude or disrespectful. They always make sure to find if there’s an issue or not. They take good care of the patients. There so nice here. You don’t ever have to worry about them just trying to rush you out.
From the time we walked into the ER until the time we left (2-1/2 hours later), the rock star staff did a wonderful job meeting the needs of my son. The front desk team, Amanda in Triage, Melissa the PA, and Stephanie the respiratory therapist all took great care of my asthmatic kiddo and saw him quickly, so that he left breathing much easier than he had coming in!
Muy buena a tencion
Horrible experience. I’m a vegan here for asthma attack and theyve overdosed me on prednisone sending me on psychosis refusing to give anxiety medicine to counteract my steroid induced psychosis and giving me no food even though allergic to meat and dairy and it’s been 4 days. Never had such a bad experience and been yelled at a few times as well by nurses. There’s also blood all over the curtains and bedding.
The wait is terrible. I broke my ankle and leg and waited 12 hrs for any pain relief. On another note the attending physician was great. He is an orthopedic surgeon and happened to be on duty that night and expertly set my leg. I can’t remember his name but I was here on 03/12/22. I am here again with my husband who came by ambulance with trouble breathing on 1/3/23. They dumped him in the waiting room along with other people coming in on stretchers. Just propped them in chairs. The attending PA was cheerful even tho she was swamped. I would also like to thank Caversa for her pleasant attitude while cleaning his room.
My stay on the psych floor was excellent. From the fresh crisp linens, overall sterile environment, to the unending passing of meds for all that ails you. Oh and the staffing? Forget about it. Best psychiatric nurses around. 5/5 customer service. I especially enjoyed the group therapy sessions. Overall, I give my experience 10/10, would most definitely stay again. I highly recommend for anyone who’s looking to just take a break from reality. Life can get overwhelming, and everyone deserves to be able to just say “enough for a moment!” and have a safe, comfortable, respectful psych floor to be admitted to.
I’ve been here sense 3:30 it’s now 7:00. At 6:25 they brought me to a room and didn’t come in the room with me just said go to room 8. I’ve been sitting in here for 35 minutes no nurse no nothing not even a sheet on the bed. I can’t figure out how to lift the headboard on bed it’s laying flat so I can’t lay down. I went out in the hallway and a nurse named Shamika asked if she could do anything so I told her what I just said to you so she said she’d get my nurse. I turned on my button for help at 6:45 at 7:05 they turned it off and didn’t even come on to ask if I needed something. I went to my door and Shamika was in the hallway and she said I’m trying to get your nurse. TERRIBLE SERVICE Update: it’s now 5:15 pm was told at 3:00 that I was ok gonna let me go. Been here all this time no one offered me anything to eat or drink. This is pitiful!!
The staff are very good. Dr. Freeman is an exceptional doctor. Her level of knowledge and professionalism is above five stars. I want to show my gratitude and appreciation to MedStar Hospital. As far as the other reviews I have read about the facilities cleanliness and time they waited for care. I understand, but if more people would volunteer at hospitals it would help improve the overall environment and patient needs. I hope that more people will donate their time and money when they see that a hospital is in need of more staff and cleaning.
Took my parent to the ER for a possible pulmonary embolism (blood clot on the lung). We sat in the waiting room for over 5 hours. We were told we were next in line 2 hours prior. The front desk lady was rude. She claims she knows nothing, she just takes names when people sign in. A little girl with low oxygen levels and coughing came in after us and her parents were outraged about the wait and non concern for her child, as we all were. If you cannot do better, it's best to shutdown. You may just save many lives when patients go to real "emergency" departments who care. The lack of care and compassion we experienced is unacceptable on so many levels.
Took my daughter early Sunday morning the lady when we checked in was rude, the place was a mob house, and totally un acceptable behaviour happening after 2 hours of waiting! Seen an old neighbor that had been waiting 5 hours, this place is a joke now, why did they take fast Track away?? This older guy got violent, and we were very uncomfortable so I told the lady that checked us in we were going to wait outside, and was rude and told me that if we leave and they call her she would not be seen, mind you I was going to keep checking in, but was told I could not walk out to wait seeing that it was not a safe enviroment for us! Told her take us out that she was rude and I would take my daughter to Calvert hospital, where they treat people with dignity!!! Needless to say we got in with her doctor Monday and she has ear infection!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO ST.MARY'S HOSPTIAL.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
