I‘ve been going to Dr Higgins for two decades for various minor issues, some that required minor surgeries. I was in a Facebook group for people who have had a particular surgery and some people shared photos of their incisions. Mine was TINY compared to most of the other peoples. And I had nearly 0 pain. He has done 5 minor surgeries on my hands and wrists and I will soon have a more major one. I could go to a closer hand surgeon, but I thoroughly trust Dr Higgins.

Got to the office early had an appointment at 2:45 and around 3:35 witness at least 5 people go ahead of me. Absolutely ridiculous way to waste someone’s time and mind you I got to the office around 2:17pm …

Doctor Higgins is awesome! I was reluctant to get carpal tunnel surgery, but he put my mind at ease, and a year later I am so glad I did it. I have recommended him to family and friends, all of whom share my sentiments. Great doctor! Nice guy!

I am a patient in Texas. I was able to connect with doctor Higgins within a very short period of time via a virtual appoint after not being fully diagnosed in Texas regarding an issue with my wrist. Dr Higgins was able to tell me what his diagnosis was regarding my wrist and possible immediate solutions to the issue. He advised that the solution could be taken care of in Texas and I didn't necessarily have to travel to Maryland. He took the time to review my case, my files, and any other information that I sent him. He was very thorough in his explanation of my issue and answered every question I had in a very understandable way. I was extremely happy with the staff that helped me coordinate the virtual appt with Dr. Higgins. Overall, the experience with the staff and doctor was excellent... Very professional, friendly, very responsive, and a great bedside manner.

Dr Higgins and the staff at Greater Chesapeake Hand To Shoulder always make me feel like family. Dr. Higgins is not rushed when he is with me, gives me great advice and is very compassionate and kind. I am always better off as a result of seeing him and receiving his treatment.
