Bi-lateral carpal tunnel surgery and left cubital tunnel surgery was completed with procedures on 1/6 and 1/20. Everything was on-time, professional and perfectly accomplished in the surgery center across the hall from the doctors' offices. Anesthesia administered by Dr. Todd Hobelmann was carefully explained and accomplished. The entire process exceeded my expectations!

I wish I could give Dr. Ryan Zimmerman 10 Stars. He has such a wonderful, compassionate bedside manner. You know he truly cares about his patients. He answered all of my questions and took the time to explain my shoulder procedure. He does not rush your appointment. He is such a gifted Surgeon! I knew I had selected the right Doctor. I had no pain or issues at all after surgery . You can stop your search now for the Best Shoulder, Hand and Elbow Surgeon. Dr. Ryan Zimmerman and his team were great from booking appointment to seeing my wife with her broken wrist. He is not the doctor that jumps right into surgery if not needed. Highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Zimmerman is an excellent surgeon! He did a consult when I was in the ER for three fractures to my humerus from a mountain bike accident and fit me in for surgery a few days later. He has a wonderful bedside manner and provided top-notch treatment to help me get back to all the activities that I love. I highly recommend him!

I highly recommend Dr. Ryan Zimmerman!!! In August 2021, I had surgery for a torn bicep along with arthritis & debris removed from my shoulder. Dr. Zimmerman was exceptional. He explained his diagnosis, gave options to correct the problem and took the time necessary to answer my questions and address my concerns. He is skilled, professional, thorough and has a great bedside-manner. His surgical skills are such that I was "fully recovered in 8-weeks!!!" and physical therapy was no longer required....he is amazing!!!!

Excellent service. Good customer service. He performed two surgeries on me. One carpal tunnel release and one trigger. The care given I was do happy with it from the reception desk to the nurse that pre op anesthesia and post op. I am very satisfied will be back to get my shoulders done. Keep up the good work.

Dr. Zimmerman was unbelievable. I fell on Dec.23 and needed surgery on both elbows immediately. He agreed to operate never having met me. I was understandably in shock ,in pain and frightened. I had recently had a heart procedure with increased risk and my anxiety. I will be forever grateful that he called me back the night before the surgery and calmly and competently answered my questions. On the day of surgery he met me for the first time and reassured me that” this “was going to go well. His manner and delivery allowed me to rest my head and “power on”. Seven weeks later, I am progressing well. His follow up appointments are as top notch as his surgical skill and bedside manner. I am grateful.

Dr. Zimmerman performed surgery on my thumb joint arthritis and basically gave me back my hand. The surgery and recovery was pretty much as he described it to me prior to the procedure. He is a skilled surgeon and his bedside manner is impeccable. I would go back to him for this procedure in a heartbeat if my right thumb becomes a problem. I highly recommend him to anyone with any type of hand or arm issue. I might add that the first doctor I went to at another practice told me I would have to live with the pain and surgery is a last resort and didn't recommend it. WRONG! Dr. Zimmerman explained to me at the initial consultation that this is done frequently and that I do not have to live with that pain. I'm so glad I found him.

I recently had multiple fractures in my arm that needed surgery asap. I've used Chesapeake Hand in the past, but this was my first visit with Dr. Zimmerman. He saw me immediately and surgery took place at Union Memorial 2 days later. 6 weeks have past and I'm progressing so well that even with plates, screws, etc. (and without physical therapy-which I declined because of Covid19), I've been discharged as a patient. Ryan Zimmerman is an artist-In addition to a very pleasant person to deal with! I cannot recommend him and the practice enough!

Dr. Zimmerman is the best. He performed 2 carpal tunnel release surgeries and one shoulder surgery for me - I had minimal scarring. Great bedside manner.
