Upmc Outpatient Center's Online Review Report Card

I usually don't write reviews, but I came in to UPMC on a Friday late in the day with a medical issue during a family vacation. I did not think I was going to get seen and I did not have much time to enjoy the rest of my vacation. The staff was amazing and super friendly and got me in and out and what I needed to feel better. I can't thank them enough for helping me out otherwise the rest of my vacation would have been downhill that is for sure. Thank you so much the whole staff was amazing in every way!!!!!

We've had all of our kids here for various reasons and they've always been prompt, polite, understanding, and efficient. Anyone we've encountered there has had great bedside manner with our kids. Definitely my first choice for urgent care in Garrett county! Very thankful they're in the community.

We live locally. We frequently take our kids here and it is such a wonderful urgent care. The front desk professionals are always warm and the medical professionals are always thorough and so kind. I wish I knew the name of the male nurse - but he is especially great with kids and lightens the mood with funny jokes. Everyone here is great with kids. Highly recommend this urgent care.

In and out within 40 min … super friendly and really took care of my son.

The ladies who treated me at this UPMC urgent care facility were very kind and exceptionally skilled professions. I had a boat dock incident that required stitches on my shin and the ladies working that day got me in an out within an hour and right back on vacation. It was impressive to see how well they worked together. With each performing their role without delay from signing me in, gettting the wound cleaned, stitches inserted and bandaged completed. All steps done exceptionally well with the type of care and bedside manner you want to receive. I can't thank you enough for getting me back up and at 'em on my vacation! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Deep Creek Lake is very fortunate to your facility literally on the lake. And of course whenever I tell someone about my injury, it all started with that dang bear!

This is the best experience of urgent care I've ever had (I'm 78 so there have been a number of visits over the years.) The waiting room is very pleasant and has a million dollar view of Deep Creek. At 3:30 p.m., we were the only patients although a few came in while we were there. So there was very little wait. Everyone was friendly. My preliminary test results were back by the end of my visit so I could get an antibiotic right away. I would definitely return.

Top notch! In and out very quickly! The staff is great! My 10 year old needed stiches and they couldn't of been more caring and patient. They explained every step to him to ease his anxiety and Nurse Heather even let him squeeze her hand when it hurt.

The staff were amazing from start to finish. The were patient with my son. Gentle and mindful of his pain. The staff explained everything to him before doing anything. Highly recommend this urgent care!

I had to bring my grandson for an accidental injury without his mother being here. The staff was professional and quite friendly. We had a very short wait and an x-ray was taken and results handled very efficiently. I would highly recommend their services. Quick, professional, Courteous, Timely!

I would highly recommend this urgent care. As a mom of three boys, I am kind of an urgent care connoisseur! Starting with the front desk an through intake and medical evaluation, you are treated with a very warm professionalism. We have been here twice now and this kind and professional treatment has been consistent across different nurses and doctors. The place is very clean and run very efficiently--you will be taken care of promptly (of course, that depends on how busy they are). When we were there, there was a steady stream of patients coming in and they were able to keep up and keep wait times down. Whilst chatting with the doctor while he cared for my son, I realized that I was eligible for a third dose of Moderna (immune compromised) and I turned right back around, went to the front desk, and signed myself in. There was no pressure to get the vaccine (for you "anti" folks out there)-this was just part of a natural conversation and he mentioned what the updated guidance was for third doses. If you want top notch care in a stress-free (even stress reducing) environment, this is the place to go. HIGHLY recommend.
