In addition to Dr. Zimmer-Galler, Dr. Mary Beth Aronow is so professional and nice! The office is extremely clean and she has seen me twice for emergency visits. Also, she was able to give me antibiotic ointment right in the office.

I've been going to Dr. Zimmer-Galler for over 10 years. I lived in Frederick and went there; then moved to Baltimore and saw her there. I then followed her back to the Mt. Airy area. She is amazing. Her staff is also great.

Dr. Zimmer saw me recently for an emergency concern. The office was very helpful in getting me in for very prompt service. Galen and Melissa were very courteous and helpful. Dr. Zimmer was extremely knowledgeable and profession in explaining my diagnosis and reassuring about future treatment. The technology and diagnostic equipment in her office is very impressive. I am a healthcare provider who seeks out the best experts who are honest and highly skilled for my care. Dr. Zimmer and her office went above and beyond to fulfill my needs.

My aunt has been receiving care from Dr. Zimmer - Galler for approximately 13 years for Macular Degeneration. She has been so kind, patient, and pro-active in caring for her vision. We thank Dr. Zimmer-Galler for her excellent care.

Dr. Zimmer-Galler saw me on an emergent basis after I had lost vision in my eye and was very concerned about what was happening. Fortunate to get same day appointment to rule out TIA. I was very impressed by the level of care she provided. She was professional, personable, patient focused and a great communicator. She has stellar educational credentials, attentive office staff and very high tech diagnostic equipment.

Dr. Zimmer-Galler - opening a private practice in Mt. Airy enabled Dr. Zimmer-Galler to shake the shackles of corporate constraints which made for long wait times and crowded wait rooms - with a friendly engaging staff, appointments are efficient, wait times are short - 10-15 minutes, and most importantly, she is an excellent physician. She explains procedures, diagnosis, and prognosis. I've been a patient for 2 1/2 years and happily drive from Frederick to Mt Airy to continue with a excellent doctor.

Technically qualified, Very poor communication skills. Does not like in depth questioning.Long waits in office ie. 1.5-2 hrs. standard. My operation was done by a Fellow under her supervision. I was not told in advance.
