Kathy Huang's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Huang and her medical staff were the best team I have encountered!! They went above and beyond to deliver me exceptional treatment and care. Her bedside manner was warm, welcoming, and professional. All of my concerns were respected and addressed. Dr. Huang walked me through every step clearly and made everything understandable. I was skeptical about having such an invasive procedure at a surgery center vs a hospital, but her facility proved clean and safe! As a Friday surgery, Dr. Huang went out of her way to check on me throughout the weekend to ensure I was doing well; and answered any questions my husband and I had. Based on my end result, I can ensure others that Dr. Huang is passionate about what she does and cares deeply about her patients. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Huang and her staff!!

I would give kathy huang a negative if it was an option. This Dr. Is a used car sale spy. She is only concerned with the sale. She has no follow up . Her patients welfare does not interest. Stay away at all costs. Don’t be fooled by her first impression.

Simply wow! Dr. Huang is an excellent and incredible surgeon. She and her staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Huang truly cares about the health and well-being of her patients. For instance, she takes time to listen, help you understand your health, and the best option for you. Dr. Huang practices "personalized medicine." I was scared to go and see her, but everyone made me feel at home when I walked in. She made the experience less stressful, and more positive. Dr. Huang, thank you for helping me embrace and love my body. You truly gave me back my dignity, self-esteem, and self-love. There is absolutely no word to express my heartfelt gratitude. To anyone in need of plastic surgery, please, do not look anywhere else other than Dr. Kathy Huang and her Team at Plastic Surgery Institute of Washington! Finally, to those reading this, be informed that Dr. Huang did not ask me to write this review. Rather, I am doing it as my gratitude for her excellent work. Dr. Huang, thank you very much. Dr. Huang is personable and kind and basically a breast genius. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anybody looking to have a breast procedure (and, in fact, I have). I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Huang and the staff at PSIW, but I'll list a few. The long and short of it is: GO SEE DR. HUANG. 1. Ease of scheduling. I was able to book a breast augmentation consultation within a week of calling. I was scheduled for a Monday and was told that there was a chance I could even have surgery later the same week of my consult. I called the Friday before and the patient care coordinator, Megan, made it happen. She went and talked to Dr. Huang and the surgery team and we scheduled a follow-up consult for that Tuesday to select implants, scheduled surgery, scheduled all the follow-ups, booked a COVID test, and went over all pre-care instructions. 2. Dr. Huang's candor. Dr. Huang is straightforward and honest. She was willing to let me select most things about my surgery (from the implant size and profile to the type of post-op painkiller she prescribed me) but the things she was unwilling to compromise on (e.g., using different size implants) she was entirely correct about. She explained what my choices meant and was supportive of them. A friend accompanied me and was very impressed by Dr. Huang's demeanor and said that she was the most down-to-earth plastic surgeon my friend had encountered (having just done research across multiple states for a facial procedure). 3. The facility. I absolutely loved having surgery in a private facility. It was way less stressful than a hospital setting and I felt like everybody was on the same page and there were no surprises. 4. The price. The price I paid was very reasonable and in line with other surgeons in the area (who are less accomplished). I honestly would have paid twice what I did to achieve these results and I wouldn't have batted an eye. 5. The results. I love my results and am so happy I went through with it. The doctors at PSIW truly have the best outcomes in the DMV. 6. The staff. From reception to the entire surgical team - I cannot say enough good things about everyone at PSIW. Everyone is kind, supportive, and calm.

Coming in to the consultation I was very unsure about getting a tummy tuck due to my fear of a huge scar. Dr Huang was very honest and explained every possible outcome. I trusted her words and her experience and the results were AMAZING. I’ve gotten compliments on it from everyone that’s seen it, including my OBGYN.

Impressive upon meeting. She is uncaring and is in and out of room on follow up.- if you have complications after surgery. Your in real trouble, she’s not available. She doesn’t listen. Another Dr. had to insist she look at the problem from the surgery. Cares about the sale. No empathy or caring. I would not give any stars if this was an option

I had a the first signs of cancer and I required reconstructive surgery. I went with Dr. Huang because one of the the leading breast cancer doctors @ Sibley Hospital recommend Dr. Huang. Dr. Huang did an excellent job! The results are incredible! I am very grateful to her team. I highly recommend Dr. Huang to anyone getting a breast lift, reduction, implant, nipple sparing mastectomy. These are what I had done and the results are fantastic.

I would give Dr. Kathy Huang ten stars if I could. I researched and interviewed many TOP rated plastic surgeons from NYC to DC and one name continually floated to the top...Dr. Kathy Huang in Bethesda. Dr Huang is an amazing surgeon. She is knowledgeable and explained exactly what she was going to do. She made me and my husband very comfortable with the procedure. I could not be more pleased with Dr Huang and her expertise and most wonderful bedside manner.
