Seema Gadiwalla's Online Review Report Card

Dr Gadiwalla is an excellent PCP. She is not only an amazing Physician but also a caring and thoughtful human being (which is the core quality of a Primary Care Provider). I would recommend her 💯% to my family and friends.

I have recommended Dr. Gadiwalla to others because I think she is great. She makes insightful observations, listens, takes notes, and does not waste time. She has done things to save me time, actually. She expects quality from her staff. She is always cheerful, polite, friendly, and professional. She asks good questions. I feel she is the only doctor I have had who has my taken nutrition and diet and exercise seriously over a long period of time. She has a lot of knowledge at her fingertips. She explains things if I ask questions. She looks at the whole picture of my health. In the years I have seen her, the one time she made a small and very human paperwork error, she and the whole JHCP team worked hard and quickly under time pressure to fix it. I have followed her from one office when she has moved to another because I prefer not to see another dr. if I don't have to change.

Nicole, I too have been with her for many years and followed her out to Fulton. I have never had an issue with her writing a referral or being condescending. In fact, she is very thorough and sent me to see lots of specialist after hearing my family history. She has lots of integrity and will not go against the rules or do something she doesn’t think is right. So sometimes you may be asked to do something that doesn’t make sense to you like scheduling an appointment for a refill, but that’s not because of her. She’s just following policy. Nevertheless, I realize that my experience will not be everyone’s.

I absolutely adore Dr. Gadiwalla! I have been a patient of hers for 8 years now and I followed her to Fulton when she made the move. She is very knowledgeable, and cares for her patients. What I like about her most is she is very direct and to the point. I can see how others might take that as condescending, but she isn't. I haven't been the easiest patient and she's not afraid to get after me to follow her directions. My husband loves it when she "yells" at me. I would very much recommend her.

Dr. Gabriella has been my primary care physician for many years. I have always found here to be friendly and knowledgeable. She maintains contact with me and follows up on any concerns she or I have concerning my health. I have trusted her with my health for many years and have never been disappointed.

I do not recommend anyone to get a service at John Hopskin and with this doctor. This is my first time got a service from Doctor during my annual physical exam. One month later, i got a bill for my physical exam which it is usually covered 100% by my insurance. When i called JK regarding to my bill, they told me because i asked the doctor QUESTIONS regarding to my health and i have to pay additional fees for my question. So my question for them is what i should ask during physical exam, they say dont ask anything. They also told me, instead of asking the doctor during my physical exam, i should have to make a separate appointment for my questions. This is so stupid. My family is going to a different one and never ever coming back this office.

I recently needed a prescription refilled and she denied it and said I needed an appointment to get the refill! By the time I found this out, I ran out of the medication. Two days later I got an outbreak! I called again today and still haven't received any call back from them. I'm extremely uncomfortable. I'm 60 years old and never have had a doctor like this. I have been her patient for awhile and she is condescending and doesn't like referring to specialists. I don't usually do reviews but I feel I owe it to others to let them know my experience.

I recently requested a refill on a maintenance medication. She denied it because she said I hadn't been there for a year and I needed an appointment first. Meantime, no call about this and I ran out of the medication. I now (only 2 days later) have an outbreak. Called again and explained the situation and have received no call back today. She is condescending and doesn't want to make referrals to specialists. She is uncaring. Worst doctor I have had in my life and I'm 60 years old. I will be finding another doctor.

Dr. Gadiwalla was very condescending and seemed annoyed by the questions and concerns raised to her during a visit for a family member with advanced cancer. This was very distressing at such a difficult time when family and caregivers are trying to make the best medical decisions possible based on her recommendation, which she kept repeating was to speak with an oncologist as our concerns were no longer internal medicine-related. Why, then, is she continuing to make follow-up appointments instead of advising us to discontinue using her care?
