List of Marc Lyle Kozam's Reviews
Funny that some other reviewer said why so much hate. Because Dr Kozam is the WORST DOCTOR EVER. Arrogant, impatient, smug, and just a general hack. There is no conspiracy regarding this guy. He is the worst. All the bad reviews are true (and there are many).
I am NOT impressed with Dr. Kozam. He is supposed to be a GI doctor but just wants to recommend his patients to go to the ER. Completely disinterested in figuring out what's wrong... basically, "take this and don't bother me" attitude! I'm looking for a different doctor. If you don't have a problem, call Dr. Kozam!
I agree with all the other bad reviews, which there are many. Do not go to him! Trust me on this.
Not competent and talks to patients like dogs. This is the only doctor I have seen doing a diagnosis based on one symptom.
Very detailed professional helpful. First time seeing a gastroenterologist and I’m very happy. He has me for life. Will recommend my entire family. - jasmine Harris
I met Dr. Marc Kozam for the first time today! He is an amazing doctor who took the time to explain everything to you in detail. A very pleasant man. We need more doctors like him. I am impressed! He is the best GI doctor in the area!
Great doctor
Dr Kozam was not very professional about the correct billing. He charged my insurance for an office visit that he did not perform. He just gave me results from the procedure and billed me for an office visit that he could have given me the results post op in recovery as my wife was with me or over the phone. No need for an additional appointment just to say no polyps, everything is negative and you don't need to come back for ten years. That should have been done over the phone or in recovery. He charged me an additional office visit for a ten minute meeting, which really should have been done over the phone or via email. I tried to speak with Gina on several dates about resubmitting to my insurance with the correct codes so the insurance could reimburse him for the results of the procedure as my insurance informed me that they will pay at 100% as this is considered preventative and Gina just sent my account into collections. I found this office to be extremely unprofessional and I do not recommend this practice. I would use and will use another office in the future.
Dr. Kozam was excellent. During the pre-operation meeting he explained the procedure and everything I had to do to prep. He greeted me at the surgery center and the procedure went perfectly. The follow up office visit was informative. Dr. Kozam is excellent at his profession.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
