List of Maureen Donnelly Passaro's Reviews
May be too busy…. I tried to schedule with her since June 2022… first I had to cancel my September appt. Then, they call to cancel my December to tell me that my appointment will be schedule for April 2023. That only tells me how much she cares for people who is seeking her help. (I have to say, I was never her patient)
Perhaps the rudest office staff Ive ever encountered. I arrived 10 minutes late due to feeling dizzy and disoriented. They probably should have checked my vitals- instead they were accusatory about why I didn't pull over to call them that I'd be arriving late and didn't allow me to see the doctor. I stumbled to my car and somehow managed to make it home
In addition to medical competence, very good communicator, giving sufficient time, real.
Dr. Passaro is rude, condecending, and unprofessional to a degree I have rarely seen among doctors (and thats saying a lot given some of the doctors I have encountered). She literally screamed "STOP!!" at me during a conversation in a shrill and frankly rather unhinged way simply due to me momentarily talking over her as a result of a delay in the conference call. It was obviously a misunderstanding and I meant absolutely no offense and yet she totally lost her cool and yelled in an entirely offensive and inappropriate way. I was so taken aback that I didnt say anything at the time, but i have since decided to find a new doctor due to not only this incident, comments by other people, negative experiences with other staff members, and her running chronically behind schedule.

Never made it to first visit. Referred by my primary care physician. Called for appointment. After giving them my birth date (always the first question, it seems) I was told there was a 10 MONTH waiting period. I asked for an appointment at that time and was transferred to nowhere except a dial tone. I called back and was told "don't call us, we'll call you". Clearly they don't want Medicare patients. Why not just say so and tell the PCP's referring?
Her bedside manner is Everything Less than a Five Star! When performing her So-Called exam, she starts in on conversations pertaining to the Daily News! This should serve as a Resounding Red Flag to never again return to her!! Ms. Passaro never returns your phone calls after I called 4 days later for my test results. I give her Nurse a Five Star as she will call you back (in place of Dr Passaro) in a timely manner, she is far more Professional, Knowledgeable, Caring and Accurate with All Test Results! Ms. Passaro really should understand that, she should treat others in the respectful manner that she would want to be treated!
On my recent visit with Ms. Passaro, it did not transpire in a professional, caring nor positive environment. Upon entering her office, she DID NOT even look up or greet me with a Good Morning, Hello or none of the sort! She leaves her door Open when discussing private information about your health. She never ever excused herself when an incoming phone call came in while I was still in her office. She claimed it was an emergency call. Not true at all! That incoming call that she took was Very calm and a slow paced conversation. She completely Ignored me as if I was not even there!! She never apologized for keeping me waiting "LITERALLY" about 10 minutes. When visiting another PCP at the same office location, I walked past Maureen's ofc. and, she was Just sitting there at her desk Idol Picking her Fingers!! Twice I witnessed her doing this. I really should have known from my eye witness that this was a red flag and I should not have EVER scheduled an appt. with her! How many True and Excellent Doctor's will you see actually sitting around Playing with their fingers??? Maureen is very Cold, Incompetent and Unconcerned about any patients health issues. We certainly Would Not Recommend her.
Very rude. The nurse that usually cares for me is really nice. However, I did not have her today. First of all, I scheduled this appointment three months in advance. I even called and spoke to customer service to make sure all was well for the appointment. I arrive at the appointment, and they tell me my referral expired May 2018. I really needed to see my doctor. No sympathy for my situation, and the receptionist did not offer any helpful options. I called my PCP to get it faxed and waited. After I was escorted to the room, the nurse was so cold and unprofessional, I was uncomfortable. She did not say hello. She did not ask how I am. She didn't even make eye contact with me. I am super upset. She grabbed my arm to take my blood pressure without telling me she was going to touch me. She stood there with the pulse oximetry machine until I put my finger in. I cried when I got to the car because I was already not feeling well. I was treated like pure trash today .
I spent quite a long time with her the first visit and she listened to all of my issues. I really loved her Nurse Practitioner Trish Hathaway but she moved on to another job unfortunately. I haven't really bonded with the new one yet.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
