List of Nasrin Ansari's Reviews
I was referred to Dr. Ansari after scans showed gallstones after having a horrible attack & going to ER. When I went to my app't. in Nov. she said she didn't know why I was there and didn't have my records and to come back in 6 weeks. The night before my 2nd scheduled app't. 1/2 hr. before her office closed, her staff called & said they still didn't have the records & that I would need to reschedule again in another 6 weeks because it was too late to get the records. My dr. said she had sent them twice and Ansari's staff refused to call my dr. or the imaging center, saying she doesn't communicate with those people. By the time I was finally seen again, it was Jan. & I sat down, and she said that my gallbladder was fine and that I did not need surgery & that maybe I should see a gastro dr. She didn't even bother to check me out by doing any type of physical exam. I have since seen another gall bladder dr. who took time to read my scans, examine, listen to me, & scheduled surgery.
The unfriendly receptionist keeps callers on hold more than 15 minutes to help patients in front of her...very hard to make an appointment.
She saved my life!
She’s a sweetheart and very caring doctor. She really do care about her patients and is the best doctor I ever had
Caring, calm, and great bedside manners. Dr. Ansari is a true professional. Thank you for the fantastic job you did on my husband's recent surgery. We are forever grateful to you and your ER team.
didn't take time to explain my surgery.
I'd had multiple gallbladder attacks & went to this woman for a consult. She had a bad bedside manner, was aloof & interrupted me, & was defensive without reason. She is against pain control, stating that pain pills should be "thrown away" and not used for these attacks. She stated, with no exam whatsoever, that I was NOT having gb probs. I went to a second surgeon who tested, dx me, & removed my gb, which showed chronic gb inflammation, proving this woman wrong. I would NOT trust this person.
This woman had a horrid bedside manner and my appt with her was dreadful. I have had several suspected gallbladder attacks, with confirmed gallstones, as well as a swollen kidney, which landed me in the ER. This woman first chastised me for daring to take ONE pain pill during one of these extremely painful attacks. I would hate to think of how she manages her patients post-op pain. Next, she suggested I use a heating pad for these problems. Would a middle-aged mother with health problems take time out of her day to consult with a surgeon if her situation could be reasonably controlled with a heating pad? Absolutely ridiculous. She never even bothered to address the issue of my hydronephrosis (kidney.) This surgeon is a joke, not to mention very rude. Take my advice--steer clear. Too many better choices out there.
Dreadful experience. The first thing this woman did was chastise me for taking a pain pill during the worst pain of my entire life (suspected gallbladder attack.) The she told me this was all probably "muscular" and maybe I should seek out a pain clinic somewhere. This was my first meeting with her; she hadn't even done testing on me yet. Then she told me to try a heating pad. Then she angrily said, "May I FINISH?!" when she mistakenly thought I had interrupted. I hadn't, Smug & horrible.
Dr. Anasari is an AMAZING surgeon. She is very professional and has great bedside manners. I had a laparoscopic appendectomy done by her and wouldn't have been more satisfied with anyone else. Thank you Dr. Anasari for acting promptly regarding my condition and following up closely with my recovery!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
