Pia Prakash's Online Review Report Card

My wife had an endoscopy done last Friday from the recommendation of Dr. Prakash. The info packet did not state on how long the procedure was going to take other than show up 40 mins before to get setup. Okay we got there on time (10 mins early) but I ended up waiting for over 2 hours without any info from the office. After so much time had passed I went inside and asked the receptionist who without even looking at me demanded that I sign in. I told her I was not a patient and asked how much longer it would take. She barked back I do not know where I got the time from (it was Google actually) after I told her 10-30 mins. She than consulted one of the nurses who stated that they had just started. So, here is my problem, even though I do not understand how you can say be here to start on time, but the Doctor is that late. Why is it that a doctor's time is so much more important than a patients? Another problem I have is they had my number, why not call me to say its going to take longer than anticipated you may want to leave and come back when we call you, nope! There are other things that I did not like but wanted to mention these two things, I am advocating to my wife to find another doctor and they wonder why there is such a mistrust of the medical community.

Everyone was super friendly and very helpful. I impressed with how well the Dr. listened to me and asked me very important questions. I was impressed that there is also an assistant to take detailed notes.

not sure - she and her staff were initially great and attentive. After my two procedures, i have made two calls for a call back and have two weeks later still not received a call back. I had questions pertaining to my lab results that i the patient wanted addressed prior to my follow-up appt which is 2 1/2 MONTHS away. Athough I felt extremely safe nd in good care with gastro center, from a patient care and safety persepective I am disappointed and would probably not recommend, as I may have to return to my prior gastro physician.

The staff were super friendly, answered my questions thoughtfully and made me feel like a person. Natalia and Dr. Prakash were fantastic. Great service overall! I highly recommend.

Very poor experience appointment was canceled 2 hours before arriving after having booked it a month out but I guess that's better than our previous trip where they gave us the incorrect date for our appointment (which we found out after driving over an hour to said appointment). No apologies ever. They claim to have left a message but the phone records prove otherwise. Good luck if you decide to go here but my poor wife is suffering and that doesn't seem to be a concern to them.

After almost 2 years with 3 other Gastroenterologists, Dr. Pia Prakash being my 4th Gastroenterologist, I am finally getting some relief. Dr. Prakash immediately started me on a path in which neither of the other 3 Gastroenterologist tried and I already (after 2 days) see and feel results. Also, Dr. Prakash really does "listen" as many of the other patients who left reviews (prior to my visits) indicated.

Dr Prakash has been the most attentive, knowledgeable, and kind doctor I have had in 20 years. She listens and is extremely caring regarding all patient aspects. I would recommend her to anyone and am grateful for her.

My first visit was a warm and friendly visit, throughout the entire office and staff. Dr. Prakash was thorough and clear during my initial visit. Totally would recommend to anyone looking for a local gastroenterologist!
