My name is Michael Lyles, Dr. Cory Walsh (of MMI/CAO Frederick, MD) did my knee replacement surgery on 4/24/25. He did all of my pre-op visits as well. Dr Walsh has the respect and patience that you would want a doctor to have…from start to finish 👍 He took his time explaining everything and answered all of my questions and then some. Excellent/Awesome doctor! I was referred to him by my coworkers and I will definitely refer him to anyone i come in contact with regarding orthopedic issues. Thank you Dr. Walsh! The provider spent about 90 seconds with me, said he thought I had a torn minuscus, said they rarely healed by themselves, and had me order an MRI. In the 10 days prior to the MRI date, my knee vastly improved, so I canceled the MRI. Saw my primary 2 weeks later for my physical & he said it usually cleared up on its own. Furthermore, the bill was processed as out of network & should have been in network. Plus, when I received my bill I also told them my insurance had a glitch. I called to be proactive; however, less than 2 weeks later I got a call from a COLLECTION AGENCY regarding this! Due to the cursory treatment and the rudeness and gall of the billing department, I'll NEVER set foot in their offices again!!!!!!!!

I called the Village Physical Therapy which is part of CAO in Woodbridge,VA today to cancel my appointment for Wednesday due to a personal emergency and work schedule , I was then told they had to cancel my next and also the following week, even though I would have had same therapist on the 23rd as this Wednesday. So I have cancelled all of them as it appears your staff is unwilling to work with me or accommodate my needs or schedule . It’s absolutely ridiculous to cancel all my appointments because this one was a re-eval when it could have been done on the 23rd when I saw my original therapist again. I have nothing against my therapists, but your clerical staff is sorely lacking and unhelpful.

Another successful journey to the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics. I think I've paid for the new offices. At least this time I don't need surgery. Yet. The doctors are great and every one of them chooses a cautious approach rather than immediately opting for surgery! I highly recommend them. The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics
