Todd Colonna's Online Review Report Card

Appointment scheduling is now outsourced to a firm in the Banana Republic of Belize, where their English dialect is quite different from that of most people in the USA -- and sometimes difficult to understand. Seems odd that he couldn't find anyone in the USA to handle appointments, but it is what it is.

My entire family has seen Dr. Colonna over the years for a variety of issues and we have no complaints. He is very knowledgeable, prompt, and answers all questions thoroughly.

Arrived for my first time vist. Receptionist was not friendly. Talked robotic and handed me forms, took my copay, and that was it. Definitely acted like she did not want to be there. I chalked it up to she was having a bad day. Then got called back. And when Dr. Colonna came in I could see why the front office acted this way. He was awful. NO bedside manner whatsoever! Not friendly, even Rude, super detached, No empathy, and rushed through the exam like he was late for his golf game! Did not spend anytime talking to me, and when I did ask a of couple questions, he only gave me quick dismissive responses, oh that’s just such n such then he would cut me off. No explaining of anything. So detached, quick and rude I was shocked. I asked if he looked at my previous records I had brought and he said yes, then quickly made a show of flipping through pages as if he were re-reading them or something. Hurriedly wrote me a prescription for some cream and walked out. Total time in the room with me was definitely less than 3- 5 minted tops. No pleasure to meet you or anything. He just walked out. Worst excuse for a doctor I’ve ever experienced in my life and I will not be going back that’s for sure! Oh and I’ve had skin cancer removed in the past and he did not even do a head to toe check! I had not been to a dermatologist in two years due to Covid and I am new to the area which is why I had to pick a new dermatologist in the first place. I will be telling everyone I can about this sorry excuse for a medical professional.

My experience with Doctor Colonna was great! He was very attentive and you could tell he was truly listening to everything i had to say. He gave me a bunch of options for routes we could take, and explained what each one would do! He answered all my questions and was extremely nice!! He made me feel very hopeful moving forward! I know everyone has different experiences, but i wouldn’t let the bad reviews deter you from going to him, he’s a very knowledgeable, kind, and great doctor!!

Despite the reviews here, I had a great experience, he addressed my issues and was great bedside manner. Would schedule w/ him again

It was easy to set up appt, the wait time to see the Dr was negligible, staff was friendly and professional, and Dr. Colonna was personable, professional and thorough

Horrible bedside manner. The visit was for my father as a new patient, the Dr. was in the room for 5 minutes, didn’t look at the parts that needed attention. Didn’t care to hear what has been done about his condition, Wrote in a piece of paper something and left the room. My dad felt very discouraged and also ashamed of how he was treated by this doctor. Very bad approach and attitude.

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before sending my dad here. Dr. Colonna was careless and arrogant, the visit was less than five minutes and he refused to look at my dad’s legs to see the issue that I had scheduled the appointment for. My dad has really bad skin issues but it seems like Dr. colonna caters to a different demographic or type of people regardless of your skin condition. My parents were so sad and disappointed for the horrible bedside manner from him. Again just pure arrogance and careless. Por favor no lo vayan a ver a este doctor. Came to see Dr. Todd Colonna for a skin issue (where my skin was literally turning black and peeling off, it looked like decay or mold on my body). The visit lasted less than 5 minutes total. I wasn’t even finished explaining what my issue was before he pointed to my knuckles and essentially said “See how the folding joint skin is black? Having pigmented skin is normal for people like you.” And then diagnosed me with nothing and then left, sending me on my merry way. Excuse me?? Hello?? He didn’t even take the time to even analyze the problem area in question. I know for a fact I would not have been dismissed like this if I were a white individual. I have a feeling this clinic does not cater to those who are people of color. Racial bias? I will let those reading decide.
