A little man with a rather large "I love me" complex. A skilled surgeon but very sloppy on follow up. Cannot keep a partner. They seem to leave him.

Dr. Gertner is the best. Great doctor, caring and will go out of his way to help you in any way. I’ve been seeing Dr Gertner for more than 20 years, I trust him and his opinions 100%. If it weren’t for his smiles and kidding to make you feel at ease, I don’t think I would have gotten through a lot. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Gertner is the best! I've had four procedures performed by him, all with uneventful outcomes. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever encountered. He is an angel with invisible wings. Hey, Dr. Gertner, if you ever see this, it's your "Maggie Sue!" I am doing great and retired. Thank you for everything and for always taking good care of me. Several years ago, I was experiencing pain at my stomach. After a few tests/scans, Dr. Gertner determined that I had a tumor at my ileocecal valve, and recommended an ileocecectomy. Surgery was scheduled, and the recovery was fast. I have not experienced any issues since. I found Dr. Gertner to be frank, honest and compassionate. I would recommend him to anyone.

I worked for Dr. Gertner until I retired. He is a very special person! I loved working with him, but most of all, I never got to thank him enough for saving my daughter’s life. Dr Gertner is an outstanding doctor. He has the best bed side manner, he’s very smart and mostly importantly, he takes time to listen to his patients. It’s clear that he cares deeply for the well being of his patients and I am glad to have found him as a doctor. He’s the best!!!
