Great doctor. He listened to me and validated my pain. He answered all of my questions quickly without making me feel rushed.

Good doctor though a bit rushed and doesn't care for PT. I had tibial nail surgery with Dr. Richardson. He said that I must start PT 2 weeks after surgery. I went to Dr. Heller after waiting 3 days for Dr. Richardson's secretary to call back after I left a message about excruciating pain in my foot. Dr. Heller removed my bandage that was too tight and saved my foot which by that time swelled at least twice its size. He was adamant that I should go back to Dr. Richardson (professional ethics) but why would I go back to someone who couldn't care less? I saw Dr. Heller for my follow-ups as he was the one to provide urgent help when I needed it. He wasn't at my location when I had to remove sutures so I saw Dr. Buchalter in the same practice. He has stellar surgical experience, as does Dr. Richardson, and gave me the same impression of not giving two hoots. He did say to start PT ASAP though. Dr. Heller kept saying that PT is optional. Not sure who's right but I'll stay with Dr. Heller.

Never rushed, very personable and did a successful hip surgery on me. A friend on whom he operated also is very satisfied. Dr Heller is an excellent physician.
