List of Metro Spine Pain Centers's Reviews
The worst thing about this practice is the phone, incoming and outgoing. No one answers, you rarely get a call back, and the voicemail is always full. Pharmacies and other doctors have the same complaint.
I love my spine doctor Drake metro spine Center has been taking care of me since 2015
Exelent doctor
Worst place they never answer the phone vm always full
This is the absolutely worst pain management specialist I've ever experienced. Dr. George Drakes is rude and a straight up incompetent jersey to say the least. They don't answer calls, the voice-mail is always full and they cancel appointments but won't let you know until you show up for the appointment (this happened to me three separate times). I was scheduled for a procedure a month ago but they knew 2 weeks after scheduling me that the insurance company denied the procedure however they office schedulers, assistant, doctor nor director reached out to tell me. I am on blood thinners and had to be off of my medication for 5-7 days prior to the procedure but they let me stay off my medication which is dangerous, and waited until I showed up fir the surgery to say it has been canceled since December 28th. The procedure was 17 day after that so no one could call me within 17 days to tell me? I am done with this place, I asked to be released from Dr Drakes because since Dr. SNODDY has been gone, this place has gone down hill.

I have been a patient here since 2009. With any doctor or office, things don’t always go according to plan. But I wouldn’t trade Dr. Drakes or the staff for anything! They have helped me manage my various levels of pain and illnesses over the years. I wouldn’t be able to do 1/2 of the things that I can if it weren’t for them. I really appreciate them and recommend their services.
El inicio de mi tratamiento es exelente mis dolores por la osteoartitris y osteoporosis han casi desaparecido de mis dos hombros el hombro derecho con posibilidad de otra cirugía pero este tratamiento es maravilloso! No será necesario Gracias Dr :George H Drakes
This operation is unorganized and disrespectful. My mother was scheduled for an appointment with Dr Drakes at 1pm in Clinton however, when she arrives they tell her that he's not there, he's at the Oxon Hill office. They call Oxon Hill only to be told that Dr Drakes is done seeing patients at that office for the day and my mom would have to stay at the Clinton office and wait for the doctor there. There are 6... SIX other people scheduled for about the same time as my mom, in addition to there only being ONE doctor. Then the individuals that work at the desk are not only rude but condescending and uncaring. I calked thes Oxon Hill office myself to get a better resolution and the lady whome answered casted less about anything that I was saying and kept saying "mmm huh huh while I'm talking in addition to cutting me off. It seems as though Dr. Drake's and his staff couldn't care less about their patients because they know Medicare is going to pay them regardless. They even tried to convince another lady top leave and go to the DC office and got an attitude when she refused.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
