List of Pm Pediatrics. Parkville's Reviews
My first couple visits were great! However the last few visits the experience has gotten worse and worse. It feels as though they don’t want to see my daughter and that I’m inconveniencing them by being there. The quality of care has certainly decreased and not sure we should return.
The Doctor is great which is the only reason I gave 2 stars. She is sweet, kind, seems to love what she does and is good at it. It’s just a shame the customer service is horrible and the two girls at the front desk made an already bad situation terrible! When our 21 month old son woke up from his nap this afternoon at 4pm and was feeling worse I knew he had an ear infection (double ear infection actually!). I knew there was no way we were getting in with our beloved Pediatrician Dr. Sage so I called the Parkville location of PM Pediatrics to confirm they accepted walk-ins since there were no appointments available and to check on the wait time since I have a toddler that isn’t feeling well. The girl told me there were only two people waiting and it wouldn’t be too long of a wait. We live less than 15 minutes away so we rushed over and miraculously now there were TEN people in front of us and it’s an hour wait. She then explained since I was a walk-in I had to scan the QR code which I was having difficulty with, instead of her doing her job of customer service and showing kindness and compassion towards a sick child by checking him in “manually” she was adamant I check in online. I was told to go back to our car and fill out the paperwork on the website. The website ended up being so confusing I couldn’t even find the correct location then it would only allow me to schedule for the next day. My son and I had to go back into the office since they didn’t answer the phone, although they were both just sitting there when we walked back in. Now she decides to actually do her job and be of assistance by checking him in on the computer. At this point with the way everything is panning out- being in my first trimester of pregnancy, having a sick toddler and being told to sit in my car for an hour-when I was told something completely different over the phone and only packing snacks and not a sandwich or something decent for his dinner all while it’s windy and 23 degrees outside and wait for them to “call and text” me. I was beyond upset and extremely frustrated with their lack of honesty, professionalism and humanity. I guess the way the “receptionist” decided to “get back” at me while making a child suffer was not to call or text when they were ready but to tell me they were ready 40 minutes ago when I finally called them an hour later. Going through experiences like this makes me feel sad for the world and each other. We have no love or compassion for one another as humans beings especially when an innocent child is involved. It is just so off putting and pathetic, especially at a pediatric office! Good luck!
Every time I have had to come here, the staff has been amazing. Went there today because my daughter had an ear infection. Her regular peds office is closed due to the holiday. All urgent cares are packed because of covid. She was in so much pain and I was worried I was gonna have to sit for hours at the hospital just for antibiotics. We waited maybe an hour and they got us in and out. This place is so amazing. It’s always nice to have a good place to go, especially for our babies because we want them to have the best care possible. They don’t disappoint! Thank you PM pediatrics!
The best place and very helpful
We had to wait until 7:45 to get an online appt (made the appt at 4) but once we got there we were seen super fast. Others were walking in behind us and getting treated fast as well. The nurse and doctor were very nice and attentive and answering all of my 6 year olds questions. We will definitely be back! Plus I was self pay and the visit was only $150 with strep and COVID test.
Extremely quick, polite and helpful.I was able to get a same day appointment just about 2 hours from the time I checked for my child. The doctor and nurses were very sweet and empathetic. This was my first time at this location, usually go to the Lutherville office, but it’s now an instant favorite!
The customer service was great and they did see my child in a manner of time. Unfortunately, my child is suffering from teething and a high fever. She didn’t have a ear infection but the pain she is in they can only provide her with Motrin and that is what I have gave her prior to coming here.
The entire staff is absolutely Amazing. Long wait because we didn’t have an appointment but they were all very polite and welcoming.
Horrible experience today. Made an appointment for covid test, arrived on time. Nurse swabbed my 4 year old within 15 min. Then we waited for 1h:20m to Dr to 'check' us which took 1 min. After 1 hr in small hot room, I asked how much longer and if we could just leave. They won't test your swab if you leave before Dr check. Another 20 min standing in hallway so I could ask Dr to check us.Results are 24 hrs to get. Plus insurance copay required. For covid tests go elsewhere. It's not fast. Plus they weren't great at swabbing a small child. We have used this place before for non covid tests and it was good.
We had a horrible experience. My poor little one was coughing so bad and had a fever. Waiting 2 hours to go back. When finally in the back it went fast but nothing was really done. The nurse didn't follow through with swabbing my son's throat for strep because he threw up some. I said I would swab him for strep , I don't care if threw up on me. The covid swab was barely a swab. Went home and he was getting worse..three days later he was taken to his regular Dr and turns out he has strep. He was hurting unnecessarily.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
