Very negative experience at this doctor’s office today - will be finding a new GYN. I waited 50 minutes past my appt time before even being called back into a room. No explanation provided at all or no apology. Even when I finally asked around 40 minutes of waiting I got a short unapologetic answer that my room wasn’t ready. I get it - doctors are busy, but patient care and customer service skills are still important. Then, I was left to wait in the room for even longer but told to sit and undress and wait. I decided not to undress yet, as I wanted to find out how long it would be until I’m seen so I opened the door and stood in the doorway to figure this out and was told by the front desk person or tech that I was not allowed to stand there and needed to return into the room. I explained to her my concern and she responded very very rudely. This is what made me realize I would definitely be finding a new doctors office. It felt the equivalent of if you had been waiting at a restaurant a long time for your food then try to ask about it and told to shut up and go back to your table. The actual appt with the doctor was quick and did not feel as comprehensive as what I expected and then I’m sent to the back for labs. The lab girl tried once, couldn’t get blood, asked the other girl who was also unsuccessful. They suggested I go to another LabCorp, which I did and they got blood on the first stick.
The worst obgyn experience ever. I’ve never actually had a doctor I felt comfortable with at this practice. First let me start of by saying most of them tend to say weird inappropriate comments in front of my face . I was literally in the middle of a Pap smear while I’ve had an OB/GYN and her assistant Whisper weird comments under their breath and laugh. I’ve had an experience where they got my std test results completely wrong. I had to call them to tell them that they’re not right and when I contacted them they were not remorseful. They just basically said “my bad” as if I’m not a married women and I knew for a fact my husband or I don’t have any STDS. Even as a black woman I didn’t even feel comfortable with the other black or minority doctors and nurses. When I went in to check on my babies heart rate Dr. Manning made me extremely uncomfortable by looking in my underwear before checking my babies heart. At the time I didn’t realize that was totally inappropriate until I switch practices and I’ve never had any of the nurses violate or disrespect me like that at this new practice. I thought for some reason it was a part of the procedure because why would she want to do that on her own? But I was wrong no one else has ever done that. Also when she read off my negative STD results again she decided to give me a weird look after she told me everything was negative as if they should not have been negative honestly have no idea where that came from. Also years ago when I used to see an Asian woman I can’t think of her name that used to work there, anyway I went in because I had my cycle nonstop for two weeks she looked at me in my face and laughed and told me nothing was wrong it was a normal cycle. Fast-forward two years later that’s same practice diagnosed me with PCOS which is something I could’ve gotten under control a bit earlier if that obnoxious doctor didn’t laugh in my face instead of actually doing her job. Trust me when I say this is an overall shady practice and even though as a minority woman you may want to go to a practice with other minority women that does not guarantee your experience will be good. You have to judge peoples characters and those people do not have great character. Be very wary of this place. It’s not so so bad if you go by yourself but this is definitely not a practice I would recommend giving birth with.
I HIGHLY recommend going to another doctor. Best decision was switching to a doctor who is not lazy and actually cares for his patients. I have had my issues with Dr. Manning for about 3 years, I understand doctors are busy but this is my health and if I need treatment you better make sure I am aware, which she did not do on MULTIPLE occasions. I ESPECIALLY recommend another doctor if you are pregnant, they did not communicate with me at all during my pregnancy only ordered tests, never went over ANY of my results and I suffered from a miscarriage that I feel like could have been avoided with more doctor attention. Whenever I asked my questions we got VERY vague responses back. After my miscarriage I switched Doctors but stayed at this facility and honestly it was the same experience with Dr. Barrett, very vague not concerned only ordered tests and never went over results. Had to call her assistant multiple times to confirm I had miscarried. Go to another facility all together, only good worker here is Brittany the Receptionist!
I had been to this office prior to my annual appointment, and was pleased with the timeliness of the doctors/practitioners. My second visit here, I was referred to a different doctor due to the other practitioner no longer working there. Dr. Manning made me feel very comfortable and she was very personable to getting to know a little bit about me during my appointment. She answered any and all questions/concerns, and I could not recommend her more to others looking for a GYN.
It was my first time getting a PAP test and I was bit nervous I made an appointment at MHH and had a great experience with Dr.Christina Barrett , the test took less than 1min . Dr.Christina and the receptionists were making sure I was okay at all times and were very kind . Great customer service with their patients I highly recommend them
I'm a health care provider, and I do think I understand the challenges that clinics face. I came here for my first apt 15 minutes early so all paperwork was complete prior to my apt. I waited over 30 minutes to be taken back and then over 15 minutes in my treatment room until I asked if I would be able to be seen in the next 15 minutes (1 hour past my apt). The tech was super nice and apologized that I would likely not be. Everyone was very nice, but I would have appreciated being told that the clinic was running >1 hour behind (at 930 am) from the start, especially because I took time off work to come in and ended up having to leave without being seen so as not to be late for my own patient. I plan to make my rescheduled at another clinic, since I don't have the time to sit and not know if I'm going to wait over an hour to be seen. I will say, though, that everyone there was very nice
As a bariatric patient, finding an OBG who accommodates a larger patient was not something I ever expected to find.. OBG appointments have always been extra awkward and uncomfortable for me for that reason.. for the first time in my life... (40 years) i felt comfortable and accommodated. I literally cried. For a procedure that is already uncomfortable and awkward it made a huge difference to see so much effort put into the care and comfort of bariatric patients.
The office smelled a little off this morning. Not sure why. Maybe a trash can that needs replaced. I select an early appointment to work with my day. The timing rarely works out for me. I emd up waiting 30 mins - hour for the doctor to show.
I loved this place. I took my daughter here for her first "woman appointment". It didn't take long at all to be called back. Tina was very nice and took the time to explain what was going on during my daughter's examination. She answered all of our questions and made my daughters first visit a very comfortable one. She was great!
Friendly and nice office every time I call they answer right away. And I get in immediately highly recommend this office for the area for gynecologist not sure about the OB side.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
