Joanne Lim's Online Review Report Card

As a critical care nurse, I was extremely scrutinizing as to whom my ob gyn was going to be to deliver my first child. I wanted someone who was competent and skilled in the case that if a "worst case scenario" were to arise then I was in the right hands. I wanted a provider who was knowledgeable, compassionate and took their time to answer my concerns. I found all of the above in Dr. Joanne Lim. My delivery went amazing because Dr. Lim respected my birthing plan and was an assertive advocate for me. I will always be thankful to her for safely bringing my son into the world and keeping us healthy at the same time. Also, I have to give an honorable mention to Dr. "Him-Lim", as Dr. Michael Lim referred to himself when checking on me in my post-partum suite. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Joanne Lim and her practice. I recommend her in the highest possible terms.

I cannot express how incredible Dr. Joanne Lim has been. In the very beginning of my pregnancy when I told her I was concerned about my levels being off (because they had been off in a previous pregnancy that I was not with her for) she immediately took me seriously and wrote an order for a blood draw at labcorp to get my levels looked at that day. The level of care has been just as great since, with the office responding to calls and reporting results super fast, and with good availability for appointments. Dr. Joanne Lim has called me after hours to discuss results or answer questions, and was willing to make a virtual appt with me after hours. Dr. Joanne Lim is evidence- based while also trusting women’s bodies and being the type of doctor to work hand-in-hand with patients in deciding a plan of care, instead of trying to control everything. I cannot recommend Joanne Lim enough. She is phenomenal with all kinds of deliveries, vaginal and cesarean, and is rightfully well known for being a fantastic VBAC doctor, which is what I went to her for. If you are looking for a doctor who will answer all your questions and ask for more, who will explain everything to you, who will work with you as a partner, and who will take you seriously, this is the doctor you are looking for. I am very grateful for the services Dr. Joanne Lim provided me.

Great medical office, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Appreciate Dr. Joanne for taking care of me during my first and second pregnancies. I never for one day felt like I was a patient because she treated me like her family.Highly recommended.

She is a wonderful doctor who is kind and patient and always willing to help your needs. I had so many questions during my first pregnancy and she would always return my calls and give advice.

I was referred to Dr. Joanne Lim after getting pregnant as my regular GYN no longer delivers babies. From the getcho, I found Dr. Lim to be the perfect combination of professional, friendly, and knowledgable. She really respected what I wanted for my birth plan. During the labor experience, she was extremely supportive and helped me achieve my goal of giving birth without an epidural. After birth I suffered from blood loss but she was in continual contact with the hospital and came to visit me as well to check on me during my stay. Overall I felt that I was very well cared for by Dr. Lim and would highly recommend her.

She is amazing very friendly. She has delivered all 3 my babies and has been a wonderful experience with her. I always recommend her to my friends and family.
