List of Medstar Health: Primary Care At Honeygo Center's Reviews
After a very challenging fertility process, I began my pregnancy journey using MedStar Health at Honeygo as my OBGYN. I made my initial appointment one-week prior and my appointment was cancelled by the staff member due to a "personal appointment" that took precedent, only 2 hours before I was scheduled to arrive. I took a day of PTO to accommodate this appointment & they made no effort to schedule me with a different provider or at a different time on the same day. I was required to take a half day of PTO the following day when they were able to accommodate me. Again, I was called the day of the appointment and it was cancelled mere hours before the scheduled time. No accommodations were made in effort to see me and I lost additional time at work. This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! When expressing my concerns, the staff showed zero empathy towards my frustrations and I was dismissed rudely. As pregnancy is already an overwhelming journey - this experience did not make me feel that I was in good hands for my pregnancy or labor. I have since switched practices & advise you not to consider MedStar with so many other qualified, competent, and caring competitors nearby.
I don’t know why my experience is so different than all the 5 stars. I went to see Michelle Harrison. The medical assistant was so cold. I made small talk, she did not say A WORD. It was so awkward. During wellness check up, it was just a normal doc appointment. Didn’t ask my health journey, didn’t ask my goals. Just got blood work done.
Sorry but being on hold as a new patient for over an hour is just unacceptable. You can’t even reach the scheduling dept. I work in healthcare and even I know things get busy but the wait times to speak to a human being at this practice are truly unacceptable.
The WORST office if you have an HMO. I have been trying for months to get 2 referrals corrected for specialist visits. Zero communication and they obviously just don't care.
I have been Dr. Cool's patient for over 20 years. He is an excellent doctor, knowledgeable, caring, and a great listener. I know no other doctor that reads my blood work, circles any entry that is out of line and writes a paragraph about what I should do to improve it. It is a pleasure to be one of his patients.
I have been going to Dr. Lawrence White for about ten years now. You might have to wait to see him, but he takes his time with each patient and is very thorough with his examination.
Dr. Cool is my Primary Care Provider. I feel comfortable talking to him about my medical issues. He is understanding and helpful in figuring out the care needed to improving my health. Very thankful to have him as a Doctor.
Prompt, polite admission to see Dr. Short wait for visit. Assistant, very calming in the preliminary functions for Dr. Doctor very knowledgeable left me satisfied in the care for my problem. Thank you!
Dr White was great and the staff was very friendly!
Friendly and efficient

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
