Been going to this office since I was 18 ! I am currently 26 , I have loved every doctor I have seen at this office ! And the nurses are great as well . Dr. Thompson predicted exactly when my last to kids were going to come! I love seeing him and Dr. J they help me through all my concerns !

Can’t say enough good things about this place. The desk staff is always so friendly, attentive, and always goes the extra mile to make us feel welcome every-time I bring my wife in. Dr. Thompson is excellent!

DO NOT GO HERE they can’t keep doctors the turn around of their providers is crazy literally a revolving door, they don’t communicate when your doctor leaves the practice, when someone does answer the phone they’re rude and have the worst attitude and offer little to no help find any other office to go to

IF I COULD GIVE 0, I WOULD. I’VE BEEN FOLLOWING-UP FOR MY NEXPLANON PLACEMENT SINCE JULY. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY NEED TO VERIFY THE INSURANCE AND EVERYTHING. INSURANCE VERIFIED ON AUGUST AND MY PERIOD ENDED WHEN I HAD MY INSURANCE VERIFIED. SOMEBODY LEFT A VOICEMAIL AND SAID TO CALL FRONT DESK WHEN I HAVE MY 1ST DAY OF PERIOD AND THEY WILL SCHEDULE ME FOR NEXPLANON INSERTION. YESTERDAY 9/22 I CALLED FRONT DESK AND THEY TOLD ME THAT SOMEBODY WILL CALL BACK TO ME FOR THE SCHEDULING. I CALLED AGAIN TODAY AND TOLD THEM THAT MY PERIOD ONLY LAST FOR 3 DAYS AND I NEED TO BE SCHEDULED TODAY. THEY TOLD ME AGAIN THAT SOMEBODY WILL REACH ME FOR SCHEDULING. AND IF IT WILL NOT HAPPEN TODAY, THEY WILL WAIT FOR MY NEXT CYCLE AGAIN! THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE EVER. I WORK IN HEALTHCARE MYSELF AND I AM TELLING YOU THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD.

This office has a high turnover for staff including the Doctor's. Every time I make an appointment the prior doctor no longer works here. The office does not answer the phone and you are transferred to a call center who then says they will fwd a message which in return does not get addressed. Never have available appointments and when you make appointment you end up waiting way past your appointment time. If you come in early they make you wait till your appointment time. Due to this you essentially have to take the day off work just to get appointment. Appointment was scheduled for a different day then requested and I am not even seeing the actual Doctor and they could not make adjustment to see me early when I am literally in and out in less then 5 minutes. Intentionally did not marked me arrived and took everyone back and made me wait over 2 hours. Said doctor was double booked including my later appointment yet it was out of their control. Lack of compassion. Now I could understand having an actual appointment with the doctor or even having to wait short time but to intentionally disregard patient and have them wait that long in this situation is unacceptable. Very frustrating to deal with this office. Need to find a different GYN

If I could give zero stars I would! I typically only say it like it is when I know it’ll save someone else trouble and heartache! If you are considering this office please continue to read. While I love my doctor the lack of professionalism, understanding and plain kindness of the office staff makes me want to change my doctor at 32 weeks. If I thought it would be an easy process I would! They have a nurse that doesn’t forward messages to the doctor and feels that because she’s the staff OB nurse that she can interrupt lab results and make the best decisions for the patient… unfortunately for her I’m an ICU nurse and know a little bit more than her when it comes to understanding my autoimmune diagnosis and knowing what I need. Alas, nothing was done until I saw a doctor 3 weeks later and that was after I demanded to see a doctor when I showed up to their office for a scheduled appointment and no OB doctor in house. The office staff just expected me to go 7 weeks post COVID with no prenatal care. Fast forward to today when I got a call that someone in the office failed to schedule my C-section on the date my physician had told me it would be…. This has caused a great deal of frustration and heartache… my date is now 4 days later putting me at Term and causing me to spend an addition $225 to change my mums flight… so she can be here to care for my 3 year old. I have been very transparent with the office stating I needed to a SET date so I could schedule things and make sure that my husband is off… they are well aware that we are traveling healthcare workers… as such I would expect a professional courtesy of being transparent and honest on their end… so if you aren’t such, stay away from this office to save yourself the frustration and see Dr. Elgin in her other office!

truthfully, I cannot give this a zero and I wish I could. the staff was rude and unpersonable. I arrived twenty minutes prior to my 1:00 appointment just for the front desk staff to not say a single word to me for 25 minutes and sit and have a very loud conversation about tiktok. none of them were wearing masks which is funny considering they preach mandatory masking at the office. they did not give me any of my paperwork to fill out until after my appointment time had already started and then it took so much time that I wasn’t brought back until 1:45. please do not waste your time going to this location, I promise you no matter how “convenient” it is a waste of time and energy.

Too rude customer service, careless, mannerless people working there. I had filled the medical record request form 15 days ago, when I called there my medical record transferred or not they said we did not get your request form yet and again I need to go there and fill the form. Rubbish service Medstar women’s care ob/gyn honeygo👎👎👎🤯

First of all, the doctor's here are great. I especially like Dr. Elgin who did my C-Section. I would love to continue seeing the doctors here but it's very hard to get through to make or reschedule an appointment at this office. You only have the option to schedule through a separate call center who leaves messages for office staff to call you back. Half the time you don't get calls back and you have to call again to the call center to once again, leave a message. It's beyond frustrating. This also happens when trying to follow up about clinical questions and paperwork.
