List of Karen Babitt's Reviews
This doctor completely lacks compassion for people! And, she is disrespectful and condescending. Also, unable to properly convert ml's to mg's. She's a liability waiting to happen.
She lacks compassion for patients; very condescending. She has no idea how to convert medicine measurements. This person is a liability to any medical facility. I hope she has fantastic malpractice insurance, she will need it.
Dr Babitt was a wonderful doctor always compassionate about her patients for the past 10 years. The last 2 years the compassion has left and the experience is very combative. Asking for a referral and was told to call again and again the doctor that referred me to get him to expedite an appointment with a doctor that isn’t taking new patients - to expedite when he couldn’t already expedite- having problems with my digestive system she asked about weight gain and asked me flat out why hadn’t I bought a scale What happened to my caring doctor. The last time I saw her person to person she asked me what had been going on so I started telling her about my kidney stones and she stop me and actually stated we only have 15 minutes for the visit. Why ask me what had been going on? I know this office has never been warm and fussy I am sorry that this has affected Dr Babitt but she is not the same doctor.
I just had a very rude receptionist hang up on me. I called to reschedule my appointment she had cancelled. I asked for a later time so I could get a baby sitter since I can't bring my kids in due to COVID19. She was very very rude to me, yell at me on the phone. I asked for Dr. Babbits email to contact her personally since she is never at the office past 2p...was told it wasn't going to make any difference...ask for another doctor to check me if mine will be unavailable...she said that she going to hang up on me...and surely she did...I was stunned! Been Dr Babbit pt for over 7yrs...since I moved to MD ...but this was the last straw...it's about time I moved on...its not the doctor but the staff (some of them most especially...how can you yell at and hang on a patient just like that.)...they staff needs education on language of caring...
I have enjoyed seeing Dr Babitt the last 9 years. She is the most caring of doctors. The only drawback now is the office she practices in. The front desk people are never friendly or caring. They are rude and have no customer service skills. Everytime I go to see her my blood pressure is elevated.
Her office staff are rude and unprofessional. They do not return your phone calls, they hang up on you and they yell at you on the phone. I called in reference to a refill on a prescription and got the most horrible treatment from staff. Also they had the nerve to want $40 per year to hold my medical records. To recieve this type of treatment I believe it should not be tolerated by no office. I will not be coming back to this office ever again and I have reported them to my insurance company.
It is one thing that the doctor is good, but the office staff has a lot to be desired. If you call to do anything even make a payment good luck no one is ever available, and to get records sent to another doctor you get very little cooperation had to engage the office manager and then it was hard to get her to understand. Again Dr Babitt is good but her office staff needs help and training in patient relations.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
