Medstar Health: Physical Therapy At Potomac's Online Review Report Card

I am a 57 year old woman with hip bursitis and achilles tendonitis. I’ve been in chronic pain and I saw another Physical Therapist who was rated one of the top doctors in Potomac but they were no comparison to Dr. Powell. From the 1st session, her positive and straight-forward approach gave me new hope of receiving some relief. I’ve been in agonizing, debilitating, paralyzing pain for 4 years. I’ve seen a chiropractor and I’ve had cortisone injections in my back and hip and I tried dry needling with the other PT but nothing worked like the immediate relief I experienced going to Dr. Powell. Not only did she listen and have empathy, she knew exactly what to do to help me on my journey to recovery. But not only was she knowledgeable and effective, her staff and administrators never over scheduled or caused me to have trouble with the bills being paid by my insurance company. They were efficient and all of those details are important. I highly recommend Dr. Powell. The office is clean and she provides “at home” exercises in a form that is easy to understand. Most of all Dr. Powell genuinely wants to see her patients get better and have full mobility. Put your recovery in her hands.

Jaquay is fabulous! She made PT fun, educated me about the various exercises and their impact. Positive, knowledgeable, and great sense of humor.
