All I can say is that Avenues helped change my life and showed me that recovery was an option. The place is for me was magical. I had been sober many times in the past but never ever recovered from tragedy, trauma, or my addiction. I know now my addiction is a disease and I’ve learned I can overcome. I was given tools and educated on how to use them and now I have a life of an addict being in remission and recovering daily. One day at a time. Recovery is real and there are many avenues to get there. 8 1/2 months sober today and ready for more. Thank you to the staff for your help . Honestly miss it everyday.
Had my hesitations at first, but glad I stuck around and got the treatment I deserved.
This program saved my life. They have everything you need when it comes to amenities. The best thing about this program is the staff and community. The staff truly cares and does there best to give you the tools you need to succeed in recovery and the case managers etc are truly caring and extremely helpful with making sure you have everything taking care of while you there on the inside and the outside. The community was the strongest I’ve ever been apart of. My peers truly knew what each of us were going through and everyone helps each other out Amon a daily basis and you build a strong fellowship along the way. It’s hard to leave when the time is ready but it’s bitter sweet because I truly was more prepared than I’ve ever been. This placed honestly saved my life and I recommend it to anyone trying to find help.
I had a great experience at Avenues. This was my first experience at an inpatient facility so I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I first arrived at avenues I was on the fence about staying but am very grateful that I did in the end. Avenues definitely helped change my life for the better. The councilors are amazing and really care about your long term recovery.
Staff were very kind and accommodating. I loved my counselor Seamus. The yoga classes with Miss Ally was one of my favorite things to do. The alumni coordinator Rachel always has a smile on her face and tries to bring your spirits up. All around great place to find recovery if that's what you're seeking.
Literally never thought I’d give this place 5 stars.. but honestly it changed me for the better. Though this facility was lacking in many, many (many) ways… the actual group sessions and counselors are amazing. The program itself is great and although I’m fresh out, I feel different. Shoutout to Ms. Allie!
This place saved my life, staff is amazing at their jobs. Alot of support & the community was on point. Fasho all love we do recover you better bet it.
Avenues Recovery Center was an great experience and well needed program
I literally had to call about 7 times for them to even answer the phone, and I’m pretty sure one time they were even on the line and just blatantly ignoring my call because I could hear someone accidentally pressing buttons and other stuff, and if that is true and they were on the other line one time than who is to say they weren’t on the other line all of the times. Once I finally got ahold of them, I was told it would be a 7-10 day wait and that any other facility who has Medicaid will also have about the same wait time. Addicts who are in need and are actually taking the step to reach out for help, will often change their minds quickly. I understand not having space at your facility, but to say any other facility that takes Medicaid will also have a 7-10 day wait time is a lie and sounds SO discouraging to the addict in need. They didn’t even offer to give out other resources for help. They weren’t rude per say, but they were cold and didn’t care at all and seemed like they were annoyed or couldn’t be bothered. What a shame. These are peoples lives at stake. I can’t say how the actual facility or care level is but if this is how you are treated when you are inquiring about becoming a patient there, that tells me all I need to know.
I had a great experience at Avenues. This was my first experience in an inpatient facility and I could not be happier. I was on the fence when I found out it was 60 days but am very grateful in the end. I do not feel 30 would have been enough. The councilors are amazing and really care about your long term recovery.
Counselors are great. Community is great. Need to employee new RC staff
The staff at avenues was great and I’m so appreciative of having treatmeat like this available.
Avenues helped save my life. They helped me get back in touch with my higher power, inner core problems of why I used, and motivated me to follow my dreams career wise. Thank you Avenues. You will always hold a special place in my heart.
Avenues has phenomenal counselor's here. They all have different backgrounds. Also have one that specializes in grief and trauma. It's a 60 days program which helps drastically. The place does have some flaws, but all places do. It's all what you make of it.
Bad experience all around. 18 year old female was kicked out of the program because she was caught talking to male within the facility in a public area. They did nothing to ensure that they were separated, and when they talked again it was an automatic dismissal. We live a fair distance from the facility and were told that they were releasing her that same day. Unless you have your own transportation and are over 30 years old I do not recommend. This place is designed for 30+ males. Males get better outside facility and also more gym time than females.
Like a prison.
The staff was really nice and helpful with my plan to continue my recovery
My friend needs help, but Avenues refused to help him. They say it's a behavior problem, but he has never been at Avenues.Anyone that I have come in contact with a addiction has some type of behavior problem. For a recovery center to refuse to help an individual for an addiction is unheard of.I have called several times to get help for him.But I'm told he's on a list not to except. The director of Avenues will not explain or take a call.Avenues is suppose to be here to help individual with their addiction, not turn thier backs on people.Very disappointed and saddened by thier refusal to help.
All of the staff was very helpful and professional. I don't have anything negative to say about Avenues.
They accept state insurance, and allow MAT (methadone and suboxone). This was huge for me. Overall a good place
