the nurses and doctors took such great care of me here. They reassured me every step of the way and made me feel like I was in great hands. i came into the ER with so much pain and ended up having surgery. the procedure went smoothly and I would recommend this hospital to anyone! Great patient care here!

This place I'm lost for words.... the only thing don't go there. Couldn't diagnose a concussion then told me there is no protocol to check for a concussion. Being her father and knowing something was wrong, she has a concussion AAMC ER put her on a IV medication throw the IV and more.PLEASE TAKE YOUR LOVE ONES SOMEWHERE ELSE. They wouldn't get one star but the only way I could post.

I was at Calvert health medical center With diverticulitis An abscess in my intestine And a ripped intestine. The ER treated me like I was drug seeking they only gave me medication once for pain. When I got admitted I was told that I got it twice which was not true. I think I would remember. Several times throughout that whole ordeal have been in the hospital for 3 weeks they let me suffer we suffer with pain. Not responding to me for hrs. I purposely downsized the mess to Tylenol not Tylenol 800, regular Tylenol and any nurses no longer had issue giving me that for pain. I have heard it said that medical staff believe that black people can take more pain and because of that they won't give stong pain meds to us. FAST forward to two nights ago. I have 4 giant cyst under my arm the pain so bad I can't move my arm. I went to the ER hoping they would numb it and Lance it. They told me after 7hrs of being there they can squeeze it but it's gonna hurt. THEY DID,NOTHING FOR ME. Again I asked for pain meds for 3hrs nothing o. The way out the door 1 pill don't know what it was but it nothing for the. I will never Go back to this hospital if it's an emergency I will request a transfer.... I can't believe this is the same hospital that saved my life in 2012... What the hell happened..

I came in today for a nuclear stress test. My nurses were Phil and Heather. Phil made me relaxed and explained everything that was going to happen. He made sure I was completely comfortable at every step. Heather was also so nice and explained everything. She even went out of her way and got me a cup of coffee when the test was over. Also goes with out saying that Dr K . Yazdani was very through and has a great bedside manner. Thanks to all of you.Laura J.

Dr Lukbon;Told my boyfriend that he had been diagnosed with covid-19 and I immediately got scared because of our 1 year old who now potentially has it because he was exposed. Called my boyfriend as soon as he texted me this and he was told he could not use his cell phone in the hospital to talk to me. Excuse me?!? I don’t even know that he got a correct diagnosis due to his unprofessional behavior. No one else he has been around has been having symptoms. But overall this is a very unsat experience we will NEVER come here again to this very rude doctor.

First off, I would like to say during this time, I couldn’t even imagine being in the health care field with everything being so crazy, due to covid. But with that being said, I was in the ER for EIGHT HOURS. I went in on 1/6/22. The doctor who saw me, was absolutely rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. She was absolutely awful and I hope no one has the same experience as I did. I left with no answers, I asked the doctor Questions and she answered them with very condescending answers. As a doctor, you should be nurturing to your patients and give them the care they need. She is probably the reason Calvert has such a bad rep. I’m not one to complain or right reviews, but I have never been so disappointed and felt so disrespected.I did have two nurses, due to shift change, Heather and Erica and they were absolutely amazing! They answered more questions then the actual doctor and we’re so attentive. Thank you ladies!Calvert, please address this. You need to have doctors who are respectful and aren’t condescending to their patients.

Worst experience ever. Didn’t listen and just gave me narcotics without asking me if I had even eaten yet. Didn’t even tell me what exactly was wrong. No wonder so many addicts in Md.
