David Gallatin's Online Review Report Card

Gallatin Dismissed my foot/ toe injury & didn't order an X-ray, despite my concern voiced to him that it was broken. He Told me my foot was fine & definitely not broken despite extreme pain & swelling. After 2 weeks of no improvement went to Urgent Care & my base of toe was broken. Dr Wisniewski is awesome & so is most of rest of staff I’ve encountered - but this was very neglectful on Dr Gallatin's part. I’d advise seeing another medical provider at Calvert internal.

Did not X-ray & told me my toe/ foot was fine despite pain & swelling & blunt force trauma - told me it was def not broken. 2 weeks later - still in pain & no improvement went to Urgent Care & found out it definitely was broken . Sloppy diagnosis & 2 weeks of non-treatment -thanks to Dr Gallatin.

Not even 1 star. Calling tomorrow to lodge a complaint.

I am a registered nurse and have more years than I care to admit of experience working with various doctors, seeing their ability to communicate with patients, their degree of compassion towards patients, and their skill to treat a wide variety of conditions. Dr. Gallatin is one of the top doctors I have seen in all of these areas. Sometimes patients don't fully realize how complex it is for another person to quickly understand their situation and then competently address their health issues. Dr. Gallatin is knowledgeable, takes the time, and pays the attention needed to do this well. I trust him with my care and highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Gallatin has been my primary physician for around 20yrs. His bedside manner has always been exceptional. I have had 2 very serious diagnosis of cancer in the passed and he has always given me the best care possible. He has personally called me with test results that I needed to be concerned about and with good news as well. He takes his time with me and answers all my questions. He is a very good and caring doctor!

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Gallatin. My husband is a long-time patient and has been so happy with his experience over the years that he convinced me to make the switch. I couldn't be happier that I did. Dr. Gallatin always addresses our health issues quickly and thoroughly. He has solved problems that other doctors could not. He listens and provides sound advice and recommendations. I (we) couldn't give a stronger recommendation!

I'm looking for a new Doc.....sez it all!

I would like to add to my earlier review concerning my fathers poor treatment. A complaint was filed on Dr. Gallatin with Medstar and he lied in his response. In addition once the office was notified of my dads heart surgery someone called saying a cardio referral was ready!! Too late to cover his tracks. Dr. Gallatin already said my dad did not need a cardiologist or echo-cardiogram! . Thankfully another doctor saved my dads life. Had we listened to Dr, Gallatin my dad would have died!

Dr. Gallatin refused to acknowledge my fathers health concerns and dismissed his complaints. He would not give referral to cardiologist. My father called office twice requesting referral and made appointment to no avail. My father sought another opinion two days later and ended up in emergency open heart surgery within days. He had a bad valve and major blockages. After complaining to Medstar, Dr, Gallatin lied about dads treatment and THEN had his office staff call dad saying they had a referral for him AFTER dad already had emergency surgery thanks to another doctor. ALWAYS seek a second opinion when you feel something is wrong. Dr. Gallatins treatment almost killed my father.

Dr. Gallantin has been my doctor for about 10 years. Love his bedside manner. Very personable and professional. For every illness, I was diagnosed and treated. No complaints.
