Dr. Rhodes' bedside manner was exceptional!!! Everything, from walking into the office through leaving out the door, was the best of care! Other practices should learn to do the same!
Dr.Rhodes is a very knowledgeable, compassionate and caring physician! Highly recommend!!
She called me personally to get my follow up appointment made from being in the hospital. Even though I knew I was a fit in, I did not feel rushed and was able to cover my fears and concerns
I will never ever consult or recommend anyone consult with Rhodes. Also upset with Dr Bright. My mother is 89 and developed an intestinal problem. She was diagnosed with a minor issues but needed a proper thorough diagnosis for other major symptoms. Was told to follow up with Rhodes. Dr Rhodes met with family and said she would like to conduct testing and to get it on the books. Family was not happy with her snappy disposition and poor bedside mannerism. I scheduled the tests and received a call back from Rhodes office the same day that she will not see my mother. WTFUDGE? Requested Dr Bright and was told she will not treat my mother. Dr Rhodes called me due to my urgent request to find out what was going on, was told my mom has a liquid filtering problem (never told this before and it’s inaccurate) and if they do find something serious do I want to put her through anything invasive. I told Rhodes that I don’t want my mom suffering and she must have a good quality of life. Instinct told me to not let this go….. Thus after several weeks of not feeling good about Dr Rhodes giving up on my mom, I was able to find a specialist that accepted my moms insurance. The new specialist immediately ordered tests and was extremely unhappy mom was blown off from Rhodes and Bright. Sadly, this process has been several months and yesterday a test was done and it’s not good revealing a large tumor looks like C :(. I pray we caught it in time given what we have been through. We are seeing a colorectal surgeon this week! Note, mom has always been healthy and only takes one cholesterol pill and eye drops with supplements. No other problems-works out at the gym twice per week, independent, walks everywhere, eats healthy, not obese or drinks alcohol or smokes. There was/is no reason to not intercede for the horrible symptoms. Will never ever go back to Rhodes and Bright. Done! Follow your instinct and if something isn’t right, find someone else to help you.
Dr. Rhodes confirmed my otherwise healthy mom needed tests for a potentially life threatening problem and discussed in detail the tests and how she would do them-think C-ncer! After scheduling the tests, Dr Rhodes canceled the appts and I was told Dr. Bright would not see my mom either. Dr. Rhodes said "your mom has Ki_ney Disease and if we do find something do you want to put her through anything invasive for her quality of life?" Note: tests reveal she does not have KD, she had a UT_. I was able to find another Gastroenterologist in the PF area and HE was upset that Rhode and Bright weren't doing anything to help my mom. He scheduled the tests Dr Rhodes was supposed to do and BINGO-Large Mass! We are trying to find what stage the tumor is and have more tests and seeing the surgeon this week. Rhodes and Bright broke their oaths and need to be disciplined-I will be filing complaints with the medical board! Seek help elsewhere for peace of mind and follow your instinct!
BEWARE! She basically blew off my otherwise healthy and active 89 year old mother off. During a family meeting, she said she would perform two tests, putting my mom in a light twilight zone, to see why my mother had dark stools caused by Bl__d (think red). The day I scheduled the tests with Dr. Rhodes, I received a call back telling me that Dr. Rhodes will not perform any tests on my mother. I requested ...
Very thorough steps taken with my procedure from the initial consultation to its completion. Dr. Rhodes put me at ease. The entire office staff was very friendly.
I’ve been a patient since 2019. Dr Rhodes was able to immediately diagnose a rare autoimmune disorder, calmly answering all my questions. The visits aren’t rushed and her communication style is courteous and to the point. I’ve sent questions on the patient portal and Doc usually answers by close of business. During one exchange she was concerned about a symptom and made room for an appointment during the next business day. She never talks down, or makes you feel your questions are silly. I’ve called for refills as well as requested them on the patient portal and they have always been filled by close of business. The staff has always been kind and provided proper assistance. I have a high regard for Dr Rhodes and feel she is giving me the best care available.
Rude, dismissive, abrupt . Horrible bedside manner and pretty much thinks her patients are a joke . She went on vacation while I was having a flare and didn’t bother to start me on any medications. Her front office is just as rude. I now go to Advanced Gastroenterology and am very happy .
Dr. Rhodes is the best GI I could ask for. She is direct and to the point and I could not have asked for much more.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
