I have been a patient of Dr. Barth since he began practice in Calvert County, MD. I can tell you that he is the most amazing Dr. I have ever had any experience with. He saved my life on at least 2 different occasions. When he didn't have an answer right away he took the time to learn about it and you just don't find Dr.'s like him anymore. Most would tell me sorry but I can't help you, and that is what makes him different from the rest. He is the best.

Amazing doctor that truly cares about his patients. His nurse is also amazing, caring and sweet attitude towards the patients! Best doctor I have ever been a patient of!! HIGHLY recommend!!!!!

I was recently diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and sought advice from Dr Barth. He was thorough, knowledgable and gave me good information about prospects and probable outcomes with which I entered my oncology phase of treatment. He was patient and interested, as he has always been in my years as his patient.

Dr Joseph John Barth 111 is a great primary care physician.. Been seeing him about 10 years now.. I've seen alot of doctors and have the best insurance 2 see or go anywhere i want.. my husband sees him 2 and won't see anyone else but him.. another great thing was my appointment was at 1130.. I only had 2 wait 10 min and was done at 12! Was very happy..

Can't speak highly enough about this man who's been my physician for years. He is intelligent, thorough, personable and up to date on the medical literature. I've never had any unresolved issue with him.

I rarely need to see the doctor however, the last four times I have had to see the Nurse Practitioner (fabulous) because Dr. Barth was unavailable. The last time I saw Dr. Barth he was short with me and when I expressed concern about my emotions and feelings he came out and questioned my ability at work and was not compassionate. He offered no resources to me and told me to have a nice day. With that said, I did get the antibiotic for my sinus infection. I learned after seeing another doctor regarding "withdrawl like" symptoms that the anxiety medicine I was taken off of (told to take a new one) was causing the mood swings because I should have been weened off of it and then introduced the new med. I told Dr. Barth this but the response I received was a concern about my career and "mood issue". I do like the NP at the office so I will continue to see her.
