Dr Henry keep my pain under control and takes care of all other issues and he lessons to you and he is very good
I’ve had an excellent experience at Maryland Pain Management. Dr Henry takes the time to listen to me, helps me understand and offer solutions to my chronic pain. I have multiple health issues that cause pain I’ve been living with for 15 years. In the 18 months I’ve been in Dr Henry’s care, my life has improved drastically. From being very limited in mobility, only mostly by scooter at the start to working out at the gym, walking with just a cane to building my strength to be free moving completely unaided. Dancing for fitness on my best days. I’m very grateful to have such a good Doctor that has kept me off opioids the entire time and encourages my wellness in the best for me ways!
I've seen Dr. Achampong now twice and I like how personable he is. He is all about his patients and wants to make sure each patient is taken care of and is getting the right treatment. He does have a bit of a holistic approach in a way that he doesn't want to just go injecting you with steroids or anything right away. His approach is let's see what's really going on first before we get XYZ. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a reputable pain management specialist!
Dr. Henry is very attentive and caring of his patients feelings and pain. He listens and doesn’t dismiss your fears and apprehensions and concerns. Great experience!
This place is a joke I'm on methadone and dr. Henry gave me a nerve block which now I'm even in more pain than before and he tried calling me in Subutex I'm like wow he's trying to make me go into a bad situation because you cannot mixed them two everyone knows that so I would not prefer this place to anyone and he's very judgemental and everyone on here saying this and that yeah okay 5 stars and all this fake Google reviews
Yes everyone was very polite ,helped me with my issues. Doctor was very good at telling me what steps to take next. Showing me my lower spine issues to what is wrong . Thank them all nurses too . Have a wonderful weekend ☺️☺️
Our 1st consultation visit and Dr. Achampong asked lots of questions and listened carefully. He ordered an MRI and prescribed some pain meds and patches until he sees more clearly where the disc degeneration is causing the back and radiating pain down the leg. He had lots of patients that day but spent quality time with us.
The wait time is always long, but it’s worth it. He listens well. I just think he needs to see to it that other doctors get hired. A lot of people there are in a great deal of pain and don’t want to wait for 2+ hours just to see a doctor.
Very caring and kind.
Dr Henry is very skilled with procedures (L3-S1 injections, nerve blocks, nerve ablation & occipital injections). He really cares about his patients and will spend the extra time as needed. I highly recommend him. Thank you Dr Henry!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
