Dr. Batong is the best Dr I’ve e ever had. She takes time to listen to me. She communicates with me and includes me in my health plan. When ever I need her she always makes time to get back to. She is personable and has a great bedside manner. The best

I give two stars because Sylvia Batong is a certified medical professional, but there is something amiss about this practice. Could be influence from the Calvert Medical conglomerate which administers this practice. Staff was evasive about a simple question regarding absence of the need for fasting before blood and urine lab work. Posting to their "portal" usually occurs after prompting this office. I don't get a feeling of trust and confidence with this practice. There is this air of arrogance or defensiveness. I will not return to waste valuable Medicare and TriCare resources.

I finally had enough of Calvert primary Care. Dr. Batong has the worst bedside for practicing family medicine. She really seems to detest her job and people in general. Condescending and rude. Dr. Brooks is just a tad better.

I contacted Dr Batong on April 4 and several following times to renew my long term prescriptions for stroke and blood pressure that I have been taking for nearly 10 years. The pharmacy also has made several attempts to contact her. On 11 April I received a message to call the office. Now April 13 I am informed they will not renew my prescription because I do not have an appointment schedule ...

We are very unhappy with Dr. Batong overall. She seems lackadaisical and uninterested, and is often condescending. Very abrupt when we ask her questions. We get the feeling we are taking up her valuable time. She has non-medical office staff return phone calls regarding medical questions with her instructions, but they are reading them. We get the feeling we are taking up her valuable time. She has non-medical office staff return phone calls regarding medical questions with her instructions, but they are reading them. They can't answer any follow-up questions, so you have to wait again. They get messages confused. Often they don't call back. Recently I called them after waiting days for an answer, and they read me answers on another patients file! I've called three times regarding one issue, and I've yet to hear back. We have now changed primary care physicians.

Office has poor management, Dr. had me come in for appt. when the test results weren't in. Batong was rude, and they routinely leave my test results on my wife's phone despite repeated times telling them to stop. Called to give me sleep test results after I've already seen the specialist and have been using the machine for 5 WEEKS. Ridiculous, I'll be finding somebody else.

Very rude. Avoided the problem i was in for by asking about my acne problems. Like i know i have bad acne your my doctor not my dermatologist!

I'm a first time patient and wanted to make some appointments for myself and daughters. The staff member on the phone was ugly on the phone. She said that my daughters are over the age of 18 she needs to make her own appointment. When I said I will be going back with my daughter when she see the doctor she said I cant even if my daughter wants me too. Its up to the doctor to let me NOT the patient. This the first time I had this happen. This is their lost not mine. They lost out of four patient
