Dr Mendonca listens. She very helpful and I feel confident in her care. Not intimidated by my multiple maladys(ies?). Most of the staff are nice. Haven't met them all. Other specialities here. Dr. Brown (Gastro) and Dr. Belfonte (Cardio) I like them as well. A bit more stern or think my personality toward my health a bit should be taken more seriously(?). If you had all the things Im positively diagnosed with and/or possibly diagnosed with; had so many surgeries as to lose count, you'd have to find some humor (dark) in making it this long. Anyway, glad I chose Calvert Health.

Today I had telehealth consultation with Dr. Mendonça. It went very smoothly. She listened, asked appropriate questions, and prescribe appropriate medications. She was patient and explained the reasons for her actions very well. This saves me about an hour of car time and waiting in the waiting room. Very pleased with the results.

Dr. Mendonca foremost is one of the most caring and compassionate individual we have ever met! My wife and I have been patients of hers for many years and she is an extraordinary doctor that always listens and discusses all treatment options which is unmatched in our experiences. In fact, we moved from the area and still go to her for our care. There has never been a time we left her office not feeling better. She is truly one of a kind and we highly recommend her!

Dr Mendonca is a very caring person. I rarely have to wait, having an appointment. She listens to me and always gives me her full attention no matter how long it takes.

She's nice enough but just on of those doctors that will spend about 3 minutes with you and you leave the office feeling like it was a waste of time and money. Not very personable.

My physician quit practicing, and I saw Dr Mendonca. She seemed more concerned with her schedule than my care during a physical. She then messed up the coding on my bill so that I was a general visit not a physical causing me to pay for lab tests that would be covered for a physical. My experience with her is why I am still looking for a new physician.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mendonca. She listens to what you have to say. Spends alot of time with you. Her personally is excellent. Just her nature and smile. She was my doctor while in the hospital and I have stayed with her ever since. I wont see anyone else. I drive to the other locations-Solomons and Dunkirk if needed just to see her.I would leave Calvert Internal Medicine if she ever left. just to follow her.

Dr. Mendonca takes great time and care in making your understand what is going on with you and she will exhaust all efforts to rule out any other possibilities. I think she is wonderful and the staff in the Dunkirk and Solomons Office are wonderful. The staff in the Prince Frederick office is rude, incompetent and they can not get their billing straight either!
