List of Annmarie Stephenson Thomas's Reviews
This was my first time there but it was ok. Far as the staff and Doctor, information was explained and it was a smooth experience. The nurse that evaluated me before I seen the doctor, was very pleasant.
I love the fact that Dr Stephenson is thorough. She listens, then evaluates accordingly. After her evaluation, she makes her recommendations based on signs, symptoms, test, and her evaluations. I feel that my care is individualized and unique to my concerns and symptoms. Her bedside manner is with professionalism and concern for me as her patient. I would recommend Dr Stephenson to anyone asking for a GI physician. The office is good with ensuring follow-up from procedures and test results.
i was barely 18 when i was diagnosed with crohn’s disease. immediately after being diagnosed i was put on humira. i had a nurse come out and teach me how to take the shot but the doctor had told me to reach out to her if i had needed help or for any follow up questions. i went to her about a follow up and she screamed at me in the middle of her office. she went into a completely unnecessary rant about personal responsibility and taking my disease seriously. all she succeed was making a very difficult situation worst. making me cry in a room full of people did nothing for me. she is hands down the worst doctor and person i have ever come in contact with.
I went in for a Endoscopy. Right before getting the anesthesia I expressed my concerns and she was very dismissive and in a hurry to get the procedure done. After my procedure, I was woken up by the nurse and I immediately see Dr. Stephen walk in to explain the findings. Mind you, I am just waking up from being sedated and literally don't remember anything she said. I remember her quickly explaining in less than 2 min and almost rushing out. I stopped her and told her that I needed her to clarify a few things, she said she could call me when the results where in. 4 WEEKS passed and a NURSE called me to read me my results and could not clear up any of my concerns. You would think the doctor would call to follow up and answer any questions. I'm as confused as I went in. I would highly recommended to go with another doctor.
My experience with the doctor was very helpful and she addressed my issues aggressively. However my prescription needs prior authorization and apparently was not handled properly within the office. The difference in the price of a 90 day and a 30 day is astronomical. The pharmacy sent me an email telling me that unfortunately they were not able to fill my prescription because they didn’t get the prior authorization. I’m disappointed. NB
The telehealth session went so well. The staff were very courteous and respectful.
Dr. Stephenson-Thomas has shown great concern for my health issues. I am grateful to her for her professionalism and dedication to her patients.
Dr Stephenson Thomas is amazing! So intelligent, personable, competent, and real. It’s so refreshing to have a doctor who listens, and is interested in learning about the whole patient (as a person). I would highly recommend her. She’s fantastic!
I am a very picky patient, I put all my trust in the professionals that take care of me and so far so good. My team of physicians are the top of the crop. Dr. Stephenson is not only a brilliant doctor, but very personable and smart. I like to call her a triple threat. She tells it like it is and that is how I like it.
she is a caring doctor who takes time to explain things and allows for questions.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
