Dr Rajagopal came highly recommended by various friends who are doctors and so although I live in Ashburn Virginia and her offices are an hour away, I chose her when I was shocked to find I had developed a blood clot in early October . Staff are pleasant and so are nurse Practioners and the Doctor takes the time to explain in your first visit a lot of information on blood clots . She was also helpful in giving me a sample on a recent international trip in a country where Eliquis was unavailable . She also does eventually respond to the website message board as she is pretty busy. She was also recently listed as a top doctor in the Washingtonian. Only downside so far is that office wait times are extremely long. That seems to be a consistent issue. Today I drove to the Olney Location an hour drive and so far have been waiting for over an hour to see the Dirctor!!!! I brought 2 newspapers and have finished both. Eventually I did see her and she was crisp on telling me what want great news on my lab tests . Located near hospitals so far I have been to the Rockville and Olney Locations . Great doctor just wish time waiting was better managed . One tip. Takes some time for lab tests to be entered into the system as the Doctor needs to read them. A faster way is to create a labcorp account and receive results much faster ( that goes for any doctor ( same with Quest)

Once you are inside the room, then its seems like you have been forgotten. Not once but every time its been like that. Doctor takes too long to come to the room to see.

One of the best specialist I've ever seen. She came highly recommended from my orthopedic surgeon. Dr Rajagopal is so caring and explains everything to you in a way you can understand. Since I am not a doctor- that is very much appreciated. My first appointment she sat down with my husband and I (for probably 30-40 minutes!) to explain my condition and a path to fix it. She continues to actually care about my treatment and communicates with you via their portal if needed. This woman knows her stuff and I cannot say enough great things about her.I am reading the wait can sometimes be longer than expected but I imagine this is because she takes so much time with each patient to make sure they are aware of all their options moving forward. I absolutely feel it is worth it.

Just finished my 6th round of chemo with Dr Raj. My experience was positive throughout the entire process. Dr Raj and her entire staff were always professional, caring and supportive. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience with Dr. Rajagopal! She a very passionate and caring physician. I have been a patient for six years. I would refer her to any my friends and family members. She gives the best hugs pre covid-19!

This Hematologist was referred to me by my nephrologist. My appointment was at 4 and I didn’t actually get seen by Dr. Rajagopal until 5 something. The lab work and medical history questionnaire didn’t take more than 30 min. I would’ve appreciated they check in and tell me I wouldn’t see Dr. Rajagopal until 5. Once I did see her she was thorough and broke everything down and made the wait feel worth it. Until I never heard from her again...weeks passed I finally called and asked for an update on the lab work and what I should do..nothing, they said she would call me back. I then called back a few days later they promised they’d get the note to her and here we are about a month later and my blood count is low and there is no treatment plan in place. Doesn’t seem like she cares about her patients.

I wish I could give Dr. Raj 5,000 stars.
