Corliss Newhouse's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Newhouse has been my gyn since the early 2000s. She is always professional, engaging, cordial and humorous. She puts me at ease and explains what she's doing during the examination. Her team at Capital Women's Care are friendly, making the experience of visiting the office very pleasant. I'd highly recommend Dr. Newhouse to any woman who's in need of a knowledgeable and caring physician.

Just got off of the phone with the lady at the front desk. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a front desk call person. She hung up on me before I was done speaking, made me wait for 30 minutes, blamed me for hanging up. Made me repeat all information multiple times. Still wondering how she was hired. Best of luck to this place.

Rushed and unsatisfactory appointment. I had several questions that were dismissed curtly or referred to other physicians without fully explaining outcomes, potential impacts, etc. I have been going to this practice for years and the bedside manner has steadily become more impersonal and perfunctory. I'm not a high-maintenance patient, nor do I require a lot of hand-holding, but I do expect clear and honest responses, without being dismissed out-of-hand.

Dr. Newhouse works out of the silver spring and Rockville office. I am a new patient of hers in the Rockville location. I was pleased with the way she listened to my concerns and addressed them. She also has great beside manner. I didn't feel like just a name on the schedule or like I was going through an assembly line. Thank you for being genuine.

I made a mistake when I arrived for my appointment with my regular doctor Dr. Butler. I failed to check my answering machine and missed a message they left that she wouldn't be here for my scheduled appointment and I would have to reschedule. They were so kind and helpful and got me in with a wonderful doctor, Dr. Newhouse. She was very kind and answered all my questions without hesitation. She listened to me ramble theough the exam, as I have a phobia of doctors and get nervousand therefore ramble a lot. She walked me through everything and was very patient with me. I'm excited to now have two doctors there should one be unavailable. The staff was great as well and could have easily told me to reschedule since it was my fault I didn't hear the message. But instead they got me in right away with Dr. Newhouse. I've never had a bad experience and they're always very helpful with me having anxiety and getting me through without making me feel like I'm a problem. Not always a place anyone wants to have to go, but when it's time for my yearly or I have an issue, they're friendly and have always been great and patient with me. Won't go anywhere else.

Dr. New house is a great doctor. She listens, very informative, pleasant, sensitive to your needs and you're not feeling that you are being rushed. Thank you for caring about me and my well being.

Dr Newhouse has been my doctor since I was a teenager (I'm almost 40 now). She gives great advice and thorough information and always makes me feel comfortable. She's a 'your body, your choice' type of doctor and does not judge. She remembers details about my life (not that that's a requirement) but I appreciate that she makes an effort to know her patients.
