Dr. David Wagner room #125 is an optometrist that I don’t recommend for many reasons. As an Ex patient he has literally caused massive damage outcomes for his negligence post treatment for an un sterilization Eylea shot for wet Macular Degeneration Disorder that he performed in one of my eye. For years i have been routinely coming to Dr Wagner for this shot and never had a severe reaction such as staphylococcus infection that he caused to happen. So immediately I went back to the office to treat the symptoms which was pain and discomfort including blindness in my right eye. He prescribed me some medication and drops but Never! Ever and most importantly the Antibiotic Shot that would have saved my eye from retina detachment!!! Dr Wagner is not just unprofessional but he is Master Of Malpractice. His words of encouragement are a complete Lie for three weeks after my eye infection he told me my condition is getting better but instead it was getting worse! I ended up going to John Hopkins for a major surgery but the doctor told me it’s too late the damage from not giving the Antibiotics Shot way ahead of time had caused permanent blindness in my right eye forever. I can’t knit I can’t drive I am immobile . I can’t get compensated either! Thanks for reading and I hope truly this would never happen to other patients who see Dr. David Wagner.

This review is for Dr. Wagner practices please be aware! This doctor has been great for many years. But I don't recommend him for many reasons. He has totally neglected the protocol of a responsible doctor. My relative is literally suffering on one of her eye. She has wet Amd and doctor Wagner gave her shot that caused a serious infection!!! Not only that, he didn't give her the shot that will save her eye! Unfortunately now she is permanently Blind!!! After more than one month of recovery and surgery from another doctor in Baltimore, my relative is still suffering damages from a serious injury detached retina that Dr Wagner caused to happen. Also he completely lied to everyone in the family about my relatives health diagnosis!!!! He has a way of communicating giving false encouragement!!! I don't trust him he is again a LIAR!

Best eye doctor - period. I met Dr Wagner 15 years ago. I experienced an eye problem and he told me to “come over right now! I’ll see you today 100%!” Years later I encountered a MAJOR problem. He told me to drive to Georgetown Hospital (Washington DC) and he would meet me there - it was 8:00am. Sure enough, it was a major problem. He walked me directory to the Surgery Center and got me scheduled as an “Add On” meaning unscheduled emergency surgery. By 6:30PM he sent me to “pre-op” and said “I’ll be back! Don’t go anywhere! (Terrific personality!). 8:00pm I am wheeled into the OR. 1:00AM & awake from procedure. A week later the bandage is off and I can see perfectly. I see Dr. Wagoner every 3-4 months now for checkups. He is the best of the best.
