Dr. Hendrix has cared for my entire family and several of my friends for many years. He is professional, but personable. He performed cataract surgery on both of my parents and they no longer need glasses! He detected my glaucoma very early and saved my vision. I have recommended him to all my friends and family.

My mother received care with Dr. Hendrix, and underwent cataract surgery, which should be a straightforward procedure for an ophthalmologist. She subsequently developed double vision, which has not been able to be corrected due to muscle damage that occurred during surgery. She is now permanently disabled, and requires prism glasses to see without double vision. However, her vision is quite limited in many circumstances, and she has trouble with reading. These changes have significantly affected her quality of life. I would be very cautious if considering this physician. Medical errors occur, but her experience has been poor, and for a routine surgery I would expect better outcomes.

Dr. Hendrix is truly one of the most skilled and compassionate physicians I have ever met. He and his office staff spent a total of four hours with my father to evaluate his vision and his cataracts and encourage him to have the surgery because it was no longer safe for him to drive except for in daytime.

Dr Hendrix is a wonderful person and great Dr. He expend one hour of his time to talk to my mom and was very patient. He is expert in his field and I wish God create more people just like him.

Dr. Hendrix is the best! I have seen several doctors in the DC area, but he is the first one who took the time to listen to me and explain why I have this problem with my vision.

One would have go far and wide to find a Dr. as amazing as Dr. Hendrix. He has restored vision to my brothers and has prevented me from losing vision by finding a serious problem before it was too late. He is, in my entire family's opinion, the best of the best of the best. Add to that he also has a great personality.
