I have been a patient with Dr bakhit for about 4 years and I haven't been able to see his since May because of my insurance and I just recently got it back and I called for about 3 weeks trying to get an appointment and never got an answer I left 3 or 4 messages for them to call me back and never got a call back there was a couple times someone would pick up and hang up so my husband called and they answered so I went today for my appointment just to be told that they don't take my insurance I am very upset with this office
Pain Management specialist. You only see the doctor for specific procedures. For normal and follow up visits you see a nurse practitioner. Staff is friendly but changes often. For 2026, they are implementing a mandatory online check-in procedure. If you fail to complete the online check-in they will reschedule your appointment and refuse to refill your medication. If you are elderly or have no access to a computer or a smart phone, they expect you to use a public computer or find some other way to get on line. This new process apparently does not replace any check-in you do when arriving at the office. I feel this entire process will be overly cumbersome and unfair, especially for people that do not have easy online access.
Long story short, the doctor here saved my mother’s life. I had taken my mother for her regular scheduled appointment and I had noticed that she had been acting differently but I didn’t think that it was as bad as it actually was. After a brief examination, the doctor said that she needed to go to the hospital ASAP so I loaded her up and took her there. Don’t ask me what she was diagnosed with because I can’t pronounce it let alone spell it but the doctors at the hospital said that I got her there just in time.
For some reason this is posting under my husband, James. My name is Cynthia Wilbert. I see Ashley. I'll start by saying that I'm in constant abdominal pain that the cause is yet to be found. She believes me and is trying to help me. She treats me with empathy and respect. She is great! Dr Bakhit is great as well. Everyone in the office is great. They make a terrible situation easier.
Ashley NP is amazing. She has always cared for her patients and will go above and beyond for you whenever warranted. She even let the front desk know that my children would be with me and allowed them in the treatment room. She made sure I was doing okay every step through my injection process. 100% recommend her and Dr Bakhit.
Ashley a NP here was very disrespectful and rude to me. I feel discriminated and humiliated after leaving that office. Patients should not be treated in such manner! I didn't do anything to deserve how I was treated by Ashley NP. She was unprofessional and not knowledgeable of my records and xrays, ct scan, and mri. 0 stars. I just posted one to write review.
Love the doctors they listen and truly want to help their patients.
The doctor is professional, and I would recommend him. My complaint is with the front desk/reception/billing. I was referred to the clinic for degenerative disk disease in my neck last year. I am on Medicaid, and the insurance carrier should be billed upon checkout. However, I was asked by the woman working at the desk to pay $690 up front in order to maintain/make the next appointment. I had to put it on a credit card. After months of trying to get the money refunded myself, I had to have my insurance call them to discuss the situation and explain that this charge should have never taken place. 6 months later, I received the refund, but of course, the accrued interest was not refunded. After that was resolved, she abruptly informed me that they weren't able to see me anymore. No explanation or other suggestions. If the final procedure was denied by insurance, that should have been conveyed. And, if the procedure is not an option, then surely there are other options available at a pain clinic. I traveled an hour each way to get there and maintain these appointments, and ultimately, once again, I have no pain relief. Very disappointing and suspicious situation and a waste of time ultimately.
The staff is always friendly, professional and kind. Ashley is amazing! Unfortunately I had a stroke last year so I have had a lot of medical issues from it, and have seen many doctors. Many of them have just been dismissive, which is a horrible feeling. Ashely is so kind. She does not rush me, she actually listens to my concerns and things that I am going thru. To top it off she comes up with treatments that actually work! Thank you so much for all you do. I appreciate you!
These guys are unbelievable! They worked hard to make sure I was taken care of. Dr. Christian and Dr. B are the best in my book

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
