I had a great experience with the premier allergist. The doctor and staff members were both kind and supportive. They treated me respectfully, and I got the care I needed. Disappointed! I had so many issues at the North Bethesda location. We moved to Shady Grove, thinking it would be better! How wrong I was. The doctor makes you feel like you wasted her time. My teen felt so overwhelmed, just by the way the Dr spoke to her. She told me she’d give me a “referral” and than said “we don't do referrals” !?!? Patient care is not her top priority. I work in health care, I can see it a mile away! As she exited the room, I told my daughter I’d take her to her doctor and see if we can find a new allergy office. She slamed the door. Only good thing about this location, is the one nice MA they have! We arrived for shots at 4:20 PM didn’t get her shots until 540 after our 530 appointment. I tried to make reason that its a very busy day (because of late hours). But, so many pts complained in the hour I was in the waiting area. They don't follow the order “first come, fist serve”. I don't like leaving reviews, I like to give second chances. But, this is not the first time I go through this with the Dr at this location! I know one less pt, won't break them. If you don't want your child/teen going through all the emotions you can ever think of at once, avoid this place.

I was satisfied with the welcome and care that I received from the time I walked in the door. I would recommend my friends to this establishment 🙂

I usually don’t write reviews but this time I had to. I’m not sure how they got 5 stars. I wouldn’t go there if I had to start all over again. To start with, I specifically told everyone starting from the time I scheduled the appointment that I wanted to know if I had a dog allergy but nobody listened because they had me tested for a ton of things and nobody even mentioned that it would cost a fortune. Then, they had me go back because the test gave a false negative and the nurse had given me allergy medicine already so I couldn’t get additional testing the same day🤦‍♀️ Anyway, come to treatment, I specifically said multiple times that I wanted to be treated for dog only but they were again treating me for all these things that I never asked and now I’m stuck with them. I’m concerned because if the testing alone was so expensive, I wonder what the treatment will end up costing 🤯

When my family and I started going here, I gave it 5 stars 7 if I could!! The front staff was magnificent! They were friendly, not condescending, they looked out for me and my kids. However, now I will be looking for a new office because I was running late due to my son getting out of school late. I called, they told me about the grace period, I was 3 minutes passed the grace period, when I walked up to the front, I even mentioned that I was 3 minutes late PASSED the grace period so I guess I'll have to reschedule. The front staff started rule-splaining things to me and the front staff was VERY condescending. Very unprofessional and unnecessary!! All new people in the office. People don't realize they're are other allergists out there and going to a specific place is a CHOICE. It's the front staff that is the face for the doctors, and because of how my son and I were treated, we'll choose to be treated somewhere else! All they had to do was reschedule my appointment, instead they lost not only 2 patients but my other children as well, so 4 patients total. If I knew where Destiny and the others went, I'd follow them! That's how awesome they were!!.

Great friendly staff. I used to have severe allergies, but once I start up taking the shots, they completely went away. Highly recommend.
