Roy S. Rubinfeld's Online Review Report Card

If you have keratoconus, Dr. Rubinfeld is the man to see. I was initially treated in 2011 and I believe that saved me from a corneal transplant. I was treated a second time in 2023 and I now see better than I have in at least 30 years. Dr. Rubinfeld is at the cutting edge of care; you'll be lucky to see him.

My son Daniel was diagnosed with Keratoconus. That news was bad enough, but when his eye doctor explained the treatment and we read up on it -- I could not imagine putting him through the procedure. The procedure that Dr. Rubinfeld performs is the only way to go with Keratoconus. After which, Daniel healed quickly and his vision improved. Dr. Rubinfeld is the "BEST"! His staff is the BEST! They are very friendly and caring. I feel as if a weight has been taken off my shoulders. I cannot thank Dr. Rubinfeld and his Staff enough for everything and just for being there!

Congratulations to everyone who had success. In 2015, I went to Dr. Rubinfeld at the recommendation of my ophthalmologist. The surgery was costly ($6,000) and didn't work. He had me sign a document in advance that he couldn't guarantee it would work. Later, when I needed reading glasses, I was still receiving notifications from his office to write a review. In contrast, I had eye surgery again in Tunisia. Dr. MENIF considered my age ( I was 50 for the first surgery and 57 for the second), explained in English and in detail what the procedure would be and why, when I would be having my checkups, what to expect, etc. Even the prep work for determining optimum eye sight for reading and distance was more thorough. Dr. Menif performed a different technique often needed for people over 40. It would have been cheaper for me to fly business class to Tunisia, have the surgery from Dr. MENIF, and spend a week here relaxing and recovering.

Had CK and cross-linking done in Fall 2020 for keratoconus. Over 2 years later and my eyes are doing well! Kudos to Dr. Rubinfeld and his team.

Roy Rubinfeld saved my son Seth's eyesight. Seth had a severe case of Keratoconus which numerous physicians, ophthalmologists, and optometrists had diagnosed but none were able to offer a solution. My journey to Dr. Rubinfeld started many years ago. About 15 years ago, I started getting these white nodules on my corneas (both eyes). These nodules rapidly grew over years, right eye severely worse than the left causing my vision to also change very rapidly by becoming very blurry. My glasses prescription was changing rapidly in that eye as well. I decided it was time to pay a visit to the doctor who originally did my Lasik surgery back in 2006. I'm so glad I did! He examined my eyes and felt I need to see a specialist. He referred me to Dr. Rubinfeld. I thank the lord Jesus and that doctor for bringing this wonderful doctor into my life. He has the best bed side manner. He is very nice, conscientious and has a wonderful sense of humor. But best of all, He got these "Honkin Bumps" as he referred to them, off my eye so I could see clearly again! Sight is the most precious sense we have and he GETS THAT! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Rubinfeld. His staff is awesome too!
