Worst experience ever! Dr. Yin was fine, but their staff definitely need better management and training!! The front desk was lack of knowledge and would mislead you to consent to the medical insurance even when you explicitly said only a basic eye exam was needed. The billing staff were even worse, extremely unprofessional, and blamed everything to the patient. Despite the patient proactively reached out to them twice and explained why and what happened and why patient thought the bill was not fair and if they could do anything. The lady said she would check internally but never came back. Later they just sent the bill to debt collector! Something that only needed $10 copay in other office ended up $300 in her office!

Beware! Lousy office management. Very unprofessional office staff. Lousy customer service person, Emily is horrible! My bill is wrong....will notify my insurance if charged & paid for something I did NOT received. I would NOT recommend this practice. So many other Doctors to choose from... Checkout Eyeland Eye Care Center, great service! Is there a way to rate a negative one star???

I wish I could give a negative star for this unethical medical office. Despite confirming with the staff both during the appointment scheduling and upon arrival that my insurance covered routine eye exams with a copay, I was appalled to receive an exorbitant bill afterward. Throughout the eye exam, there was a complete lack of transparency regarding the components included as part of the standard eye exam and what would be considered "medical diagnosis." It is deeply unethical to count each item as a separate charge without explicitly mentioning that they were not included in the agreed-upon services. When I called to their billing department, I stated the whole situation, and this is the response I received from the responsible billing personnel: "All I heard was blah blah blah". Then after being on hold for 5 minutes, I was hung up directly without any reason. Does this office purposefully lure patients in by confirming that the office visit is a routine eye exam, only to later bill an outrageous amount for services that were neither requested nor properly disclosed? It is disheartening to think that I was reassured that these exams would be covered by my insurance, only to be faced with a substantial financial setback.

I had cataract surgery over a year ago and I am still extremely happy with the results. Dr. Chu did a wonderful job and all my appointments found him very helpful and knowledgeable. It is such a pleasure to not need glasses anymore. My husband just finished having cataract surgery and in addition to the great results, he bragged about the wonderful care he received from the staff from beginning to end.

Five stars. Great doctor & eye surgeon! Also, very nice guy.

Dr. Chu performed laser cataract surgery on me. His careful explanations of all procedures and calm demeanor made me feel well informed ahead of surgery and post-surgery. Both his office staff and surgical staff were just as professional. Dr. Chu is patient, caring and takes the time to explain everything. I am very happy with the results. SPECIAL NOTE: He personally called after each surgery to check on me.
