This place is ok, I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I actually did once and my neighbor was so disappointed and actually agreed they suck worse then any doctor they have ever been to. For starters, you will be here for an hour at the least every single time. The main doctors are never available & you will likely be stuck with a physicians assist who in my past experiences never know what the hell they are doing. The only reason I continue to go here is because, I'm not a new patient. When in desperate times, for example when I have poison ivy, I can get in that day and tell the physicians assist what it is. (She didn't know) The medical assistants carry a Easter basket around with the thermometer & blood pressure monitor. It annoys me every time I watch them walk in with a Easter basket!!! No joke. If you're already a patient it can be convenient, as long as you can give them a few helpful hints along the way.
Visited again recently, spoke with one of the new PA's; they ask if you have any questions, but they don't actually want you to have any. Two positives: 1. they finally hired a receptionist that is nice and on the ball. 2. They are beginning to get their wait times under control. The tech was awesome.
I have been of patient of Dr. Hogan's for about 20 years. I have always found him attentive to my needs and has always listened to my concerns. He spends the time during a visit to explain what he is doing and why he is doing something. The front office may have changed over the years but his office manager has been with him for probably the last 20 years. The nurses are great at returning calls. If Dr. Hogan is booked, the office can usually get you in with his PA or the other Dr. in his practice. When I have been truly sick they have always been able to work me in within a day. I have recommended him to multiple people- Mother-Husband-Coworkers and they are all still patients of his. I would highly recommend Dr. Hogan for your family medical needs.
Dr. Hogan is the best! He was my mom's doctor and she loved him. I would take her for appointments and he was so caring. I was so impressed with the care he provided that I started seeing him as my own physician. The office staff has improved over the years. Dr. Hogan never makes me feel he is in a hurry like so many other doctors. Takes plenty of time and shows a real interest in my health. I am so grateful, I would give ten stars if possible!
He is a good doctor overall, but I personally didn't find him to be a very good listener. I also felt at times that he was impatient with me. My needs were left unaddressed. Luckily I was persistent. I found another doctor who was able to take care of me. Some of my family members are patients. He's taken good care of them and helped them make tough decisions. They have had the opposite experience, with regard to listening and attentiveness. My family members have found him to be very supportive. We just didn't click.
When you call, you have to wait on hold forever! That's why they got just the two stars. Also, I'm not a big fan of Hogan but Ashley Hall, the physicians assistant is wonderful but I hear she is leaving. That's a shame. She was the best thing you have going. The remodeling you did is good, it was in bad need of it. Plus I do not get my blood draws there. I have not had a good experience there in their lab, the lab tech had to poke me more than once and I don't have hard veins to find. I believe they have a new phlebotomist now though. Thank goodness. I still do my blood draws elsewhere though.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
