Horrible. I wouldn't trust this doctor with a wet q-tip. He has no respect for his patients and fails at his oath to do no harm. He tries to coerce his elderly patients and their family members. His staff is rude, too. Has no respect for veterans of the armed forces nor their family members. Took zero time to explain anything and he and his staff were only openly hostile. He is I'll informed in medicine.

Horrifying and alarming. He is I'll informed about the latest research and treats patients like his dogs. Has no respect for the elderly nor for veterans of the armed service nor their family members. I would send no one to see him or his staff. He has no qualms violating his hypocratic oath and is a liar. I wouldn't trust him with a wet q-tip. He's not practicing healthcare. He's practicing policy. I find him criminal in his actions and attitude, likewise his entire staff. Anyone who coerces the elderly with false science and false medicine doesn't belong in healthcare.

I came to Dr. Rial as a referral by the emergency department at a hospital. I went partially blind the day before and was able to make an appointment with him for the next day. Dr. Rial treated me as if I was incompetent and a pest. He did not let me speak, he badgered my mother about why she was attending with me, and he did not even introduce himself or the staff members he brought in the room with him. I left his office in tears and feeling embarrassed. I am disheartened my money will go towards such an experience. I will not be returning. No amount of education gives you the right to treat your patients the way Dr. Rial treated me.

Shortest wait was 1.75 hours. Overcrowded. Staff is inconsistent in terms of quality. Some are great, some awful. Dr. Rial is knowledgeable but inconsistent in bedside manner. One time he was kind and empathetic, other times he either refused to listen, was argumentative, or was dismissive.

Awesome doctor. I've been going to him for 10 years and have only good things to say.

Excellent and quick service for a detached retina.

I came to Dr. Rial nervous over the diagnosis I had been given when I went for my regular eye exam. I was immediately put at ease by his kind and friendly manner. His examination revealed the condition for which I had been sent, but it was much less serious that I thought. I felt extremely well cared for. If bedside manner AND skill are important to you, this is your doctor for retinal conditions. He had an emergency surgery so the wait was longer than usual, but worth it!

Office got us right in when my 17 year old son lost his vision in his left eye. Performed tests and then referred us to a specialist at Hopkins. Office staff helped us make appropriate appointments and helped us with our insurance. Even though he felt my sons needs were out of his realm of expertise he took time to go through the necessary test with my husband and I.
