List of Arusha Gupta Md's Reviews
Dr. Gupta is a caring, informative physician and fine surgeon. She performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. Her one staff person, however, has been extremely rude to me many times. She made the surgeries even more stressful for me. She actually said she didn’t care about my problems! (This was about getting a COVID test on time and transportation to and from the surgeries.) People have been fired ...
I came to Dr Gupta's office with a difficult and chronic issue that other ophthalmologists had not been able to discern what the cause was. Dr Gupta was very thorough in her examination and was able to recommend a treatment that solved this issue. Her bedside manner is fantastic. I recommend her highly.
Dr. Gupta, and her staff were very helpful to my Mom and I. Tracy J. Rocks!!
I have seen Dr. Gupta over the years for multiple eye issues, and with each, she worked with me on different treatment options, beginning with the least invasive options and moving to the more invasive (and more expensive) options if and when needed. She and the team at Silver Spring Eye have been kind, professional, and thorough. The reception/phone staff are wonderful too.
I was referred to Dr.Gupta a few years ago and I am really satisfied with the level of service i have received from her and the office team. The office is conveniently located, but I am most impressed with her care and personable a approach to my eye care. She goes over my treatments and gives me great recommendations after each including some simple home remedies as options.
This practice has been in the Silver Spring area for decades Dr.Lyons has a very good reputation. He's no longer performing cataract surgery & I saw his associate, Dr. Gupta for consultation & cataract surgery. Dr. Gupta examined both my eyes & determined the the right eye was worse. We agree to set the news lens for far & mid range distance so I could get by with wearing "cheap, drugstore readers" & possibly a contact lens in my left eye until cataract surgery was absolutely necessary. After surgery I have only distance vision with NO mid range vision @ all. I was unhappy with the result & went to a second doctor for consultation on my increasingly worsening vision in my left eye. Turns out I had a detached retina in the left eye; it had been there for several months & Dr. Gupta missed it. I like her very much as a person, but please get another opinion if you see her.
Bright, personable, thorough, professional. Could ask for better eye care.
I have watched a program on the news the other night regarding a patient you have and dry eyes. It was on the KJUN9 NEWS and you were talking about Sjorgrens Syndrom. I have been going for several months now to a Dr, Charlotte Wedge in Toronto. I have been on several different eye drops at which now I am using Lotemax and Resasis. I was very concerned with putting these drops in my eyes as my pharmacist said the drops were a low percentage of chemo. I have been using these drops now for 3-4 weeks but don't find much of a result. The news article describe my symptons to a tee. I called my GP and they didn't know much about the Sjogren's disorder and advised me to call my eye specialist at which I did. When she called me back, she said a blood test wouldn't show anything. I am a little discouraged and not sure how I can find out more about this and where to go from here. I live in Canada and not sure if they can even check for this here. Hoping someone can help me out. Debbie Hall Ontario Canada

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
