In 2009 he failed in the diagnosis ofthe problem with my eye and further failed subsequent treatment. I was awake and feeling (not just numbness)absolute pain while he operated on my eye. It was so excruciating I cracked several teeth. I emerged from surgery with the entire side of my face bruised. I ended up at Johns Hopkins getting a surgery about once a month for several months and never regained sight in my eye. Thank you Dr Rogell!

Dr. Rogell is treating my 80 year old Mother for AMD. She can hardly see. Dr. Rogell diagnosed the details of the problem perfectly, took all the time we needed, and professionally answered every question we had, (we had a lot of questions), in a sincerely caring manner. She has to visit him monthly, and the Doctor does all the technical eye measurements and progress diagnoses perfectly every time. He is like a Harvard Professor in the quality of his treatment,care, and ability. I am very grateful we were able to find such a Doctor for my Mother; I feel he is the best available anywhere, and I highly recommend Dr. Rogell to anyone who needs this type of specialist!

Most sucessful eye surgery out of FOUR different surgeons. He is not big onanswering questions, but he knows his work and I ended up in better shape with him over other surgeries.
