Please be more transparent with your patients. You could have warned me that my insurance would be billed $950 for a brace that wasn't even that high quality. I was billed for half of that when I would have been fine with a $50 brace from Amazon. If you can physically leave the office without a brace provided by them, I would recommend doing so.

I've been going to Dr. Abend for years--for knees, shoulder, lumbar spine, upper arm hairline fracture the ED couldn't find, and most recently hip bursa. I've always encountered wonderful staff and Dr. Abend is a terrific no-nonsense, lets-get-it-fixed doctor.
