List of Maryland Eye Care Center's Reviews
I was truly appreciative of the kind help that was given to me to finish the on-screen registration. Dr. Fahimi and her assistant were incredibly thorough with the eye exam and afterwards, they explained the plan for my vision correction and answered all of my questions. Dr. Fahimi one of the most intelligent and kind doctor that i seen in my life, Love you so much Dr.fahimi and all staffs.❤️❤️❤️❤️ Best regards Zabiullah Shirzad
It was very crowded but they organised it so well. The staffs were so good. My lover all experiences was great.
Having blurry vision, I appreciated the kind assistance offered to help me to complete the on-screen registration. Dr. Fahimi and her assistant provided a very thorough eye exam, then the doctor explained the plan for correction and answered all my questions. I was provided a prescription and new glasses were ordered at the front desk. When I called back later with a question about blue light protection, the purpose was explained and how it compared to the protection included with my order, so that I could decide if I wanted this added protection. I was very impressed with my overall experience at Maryland Eye Care Center and I feel that they go above and beyond what is expected!
La atención al cliente es exelente la Doctora se preocupa por sus pacientes al máximo, muy agradecido gracias
Tell a waste of time waste of money, unprofessional, not recommended
Do NOT get glasses/lenses from this place. These people charged me for add-ons I didn’t even ask for. I was confused when I had to pay $144 out of pocket since my insurance normally covers my lenses. I thought maybe my coverage had changed. Turns out my insurance does cover my lenses, but the woman at the eyeglass center just decided to add on anti-reflective coating and thinner lenses that I never asked for! I don’t even have those on any of my glasses and I surely wouldn't pay $90 for some coating! They also billed my insurance for the $144 I paid. They scammed me out of my money and still billed my insurance for the entire cost, double-dipping. If someone has insurance, you apply the basics that the insurance covers unless they specifically ask for add-ons. You don’t add on whatever because you want to make more money. Then bill both parties to get more money. They didn’t even put what it was on the receipt, so you couldn’t tell what it was. The receipt didn’t say anti-reflective coating; it said “standard Zeiss.” What is that? I had to review my insurance claim to see what it actually was. Then ignore you calls when you try to get answers. The prescription wasn’t accurate either. I disputed everything. I'm never coming back here again. Places like this disgust me, shameful business.
The service was great! However I spent more than an hour on the chair, waiting for the doctor to see me, even after I was checked in. Secondly, scheduling appointments only during my work hours doesn’t quite work for me.
I had been a patient at this location when it was under different ownership. Since it became Maryland Eye Care Center, the wait times have improved greatly. The staff are very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I had planned to switch eye doctors, but I am staying on at MD Eye Care Center.
Check in process was efficient. I was with the doctor within 15 minutes of arrival. Exam was completed and results explained clearly and completely. Great location for down county eye care.
Don't waste your time at this office. The people answering the phones do not know the difference between an ophthalmologist versus an optometrist. I made it clear the type of doctor I needed to see and they messed up who I was scheduled with. I was not told until I waited over 1 hour in their office. They refused to squeeze me in the same day, despite their mistake. Plenty of other ophthalmologists in the area.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
